One of the biggest attractions of the CR-V is that there isn’t very much to worry about. In fact, with no recalls affecting the car, and Warranty Direct reporting that it’s one of the most reliable cars on their fleet, pretty much all you need to do is look out for a car that’s in a colour you like, and with the specification you want.

As long as a CR-V has been maintained according to the schedule, it should run and run. The only note of caution is that the suspension bushes and brake discs may need attention after about 50,000 miles

  3. i think it's more efficeint if you keep your car always top filled with gas. from there malalaman mo kagad fuel consumption mo, for example top up ka ng fuel then gamitin mo for 100 kms then top up ka ulit. just divide the kilometer reading from the liters na nailagay. macomopute mo na consumption mo. and pansin ko lang, pag half tank na yung fuel gauge, mas mabilis mauos e. i'm not pretty sure i think it's just me.

    hope this helps

Good answer din naman pero lighter cars less fuel consumption kaya full tank hindi din maganda at hindi din maganda sisagad fuel tank.

    Sana makatulong ito sayo http://www.my-interestrate.com/fuel_consum...n_calculate.php

  4. The first and most obvious sign that you have a fake Lacoste polo on your hands is the placement of the croc itself. On a real shirt, you will find the croc positioned between the bottom button and the placket of the shirt. Most fake shirts place the croc even with the placket. If you have a shirt with the croc lined up with the placket, you have a fake- there are no exceptions to this rule! If the seller is including real pictures with their auction, this is easy to spot BEFORE you bid- so keep it in mind. As far as the croc itself, it should be well defined, with sharp teeth and distinct feet. It should NOT be bloated or distended in any way, shape or form.

Lacoste polos come with mother of pearl buttons- these are organic- meaning they're harvested from living things- meaning you CANNOT have two identical buttons. Ever. If your polo has two white buttons that are plastic, you have a fake Lacoste. If your buttons are identical, you have a fake Lacoste. The colour of the buttons will vary depending on the shirt colour- some come in white, some in the colour of the shirt, etc.- but the one constant is that they are NOT plastic buttons. The buttons also should not have ANYTHING on them- no logo, no text, no nothing. Another thing I noticed with all three of my fakes relative to a real shirt were the button openings- the real shirt has defined horizontal slits- the fake shirts looked like someone had used a hole puncher to open them up. Don't be swayed by declarations of poly bags and authentic tags. Anyone with a printer and a manufacturing facility to make fakes can make these.

Look at the tag inside the collar of the shirt. It should be white, with LACOSTE at the bottom, the croc above, and the size, in NUMBERS, in the upper left corner. If your shirt has letter sizing, you have a fake. If your shirtLook closer. The croc should have TWO distinct eyes- the fakes only have one eye. An authentic Lacoste shirt will have a Devanlay tag on the inside of the shirt in the torso area- it can be on EITHER side, depending on where you bought your shirt and where it was made. Not ALL Lacoste polos are made in Peru- I have an authentic polo that I purchased in France at the Lacoste store, that was made in Morocco- it would appear that most North American polos are made in Peru however.

  5. The oil in your engine serves to lubricate moving parts, and perform up to 40% of engine cooling. It also prevents corrosion and serves to clean the engine, suspending undesirable deposits until they reach the oil filter to be strained.

In these conditions, the oil eventually wears out, losing its desirable properties, and doing its job with less efficiency as the miles stack up.

If you are not prudent in servicing your vehicle and rely solely upon the yearly service to identify problems, at least have the oil changed at the same time, because this is a good preventative method to ensure engine longevity.

Always follow the manufacturer's recommendations when choosing the type of oil for your car and avoid paying too much. As a guide, a good quality 10w 40-viscosity oil should not cost you.

  6. • Accelerating as slowly as possible is not considered the best option to save fuel – and it can also irritate other road users. Accelerate normally through the gears to your desired speed and then change to the highest gear possible.

    • When cruising, try to use top gear from around 30mph up, and aim to keep the engine speed to between 2000rpm and 3000rpm.

    • Switch off the engine if you're going to be at a standstill for more than a minute.

    • Look at the routes you frequently take – your drive to work for instance. Are there less congested roads you could take? They might add miles to your journey but, if they cut out stop-start motoring, you could be quids in.

    • Keep windows and sunroofs shut, and make sure your tyres are at the right pressure. Wind resistance and drag from under-inflated tyres will increase fuel bills. Always remove roof racks and bike racks when not needed, and don't carry unnecessary items in your boot.

    • Use of the stereo, lights and air-conditioning adds to the fuel bill.

    • A dirty engine with lots of sooty deposits can worsen fuel economy. Changing the oil can help to improve things here.
