  1. Actually, I haven't even seen a Paasche airbrush sold here. Might be the only option is mail order thru the internet? Perhaps the more experienced modelers here have a better idea.

The airbrush was sent to me by my relatives in the U.S. Even my college professor (from whom I learned my scale modeling skills), says that it has been years since anybody has sold the brand locally. But I was still hoping that the air hose was standard, specifically the couplings on the hose.

So if anybody knows where to get replacement hoses, I'd appreciate it.

  2. hi Darien,

more or less two hours, pero its not so much the length of time that is annoying. It's how they cram so many passengers into the van, not comfortable.

Really? Is there an option to rent out a van or a shuttle service that will not cram as many passengers as possible?

And just how reliable is the info here and here?

  3. firstly, sana yung flight niyo is Manila to Caticlan na, to eliminate that 2-hour van ride from Kalibo to Caticlan. Parusa talaga yung ride na yan!

    Hi there,

2 hours po ba talaga yung Kalibo to Caticlan? Just want to make sure.

  4. Good Morning, elijahpaul. I'm presently taking my MBA right now at UP Diliman. So medyo biased ako to say na dun ka na lang mag-apply. Till January 28, 2011 pa ang application.

Pero, I'll present to you what I've heard/know of the following three business schools in the country:

    • UP College of Business Administration MBA Program - one of the top programs in the country (or so were told). It's also the cheapest in terms of tuition, since it is a state university. This program has been said to be heavily quantitative, meaning it focuses on analysis of the numbers crunched by your subordinates (they assume that the MBA students will become, or are already, managers in their professions).
    • Ateneo Graduate School of Business School MBA Program - I've heard that the Ateneo program leans more on the qualitative side, meaning the professors share their experiences and knowledge of being managers themselves. You'll need to do some more research on this, unfortunately.
    • Asian Institute of Management MBA Program - with its international ties, the AIM program is indeed one of the best in the country. Of course, it is also the most expensive.

Bahala ka nang humusga at pumili. They all have websites for you to see which one you think would offer you the best education. Good luck sa iyong future endeavor.

    P.S.

An MBA degree is always a good investment. An MBA degree put you ahead of your peers for that career advancement. But most importantly, marami kang matututunan na pwede mong gamitin, beyond those that you can use in your profession.

  5. I just heard in the news this morning that the new DepEd secretary that Noynoy wants to appoint is a priest from La Salle. If this goes through, patay na ang sex ed sa mga achools. See it here from inquirer.net

@darien: you don't know what transpires in a private all-boys school. i wouldn't say that we were lamang in sex ed, but we're pretty close to the most any kid could experience.

You're right, I don't know what it's like in an all-boys school. All I know is that when I attended a private Catholic school, they just glossed over, or even avoided, the subject matter. Whereas when I attended the said public highscool, there was plenty of discussions about sex ed. From formal classroom lectures in Biology and P.E.H.M, to informal discussion during home rooom, and even those municipal government sponsored symposia. I knew plenty about STD's by the time I was 14 cause of all that.

  6. Actually, dito lamang ang mga public schools over private schools. I attended a public high school, and not only did the teachers, particularly those that teach Bio, handle the instruction, there were symposiums arranged by the school and the local Municipal Health Office about reproductive health.

In my opinion, I find it a great disservice to withhold sex education from the schools. One can be taught about the subject without being exposed to any lewd content. Besides, most teens won't ask their parents about the birds and the bees, and both the child and the parent might not be comfortable talking about sex. In that scenario, where else would the child learn about proper reproductive health, which is essentially the core of sex education, isn't it?

  7. I'm presently taking my MBA at the moment, And I would highly recommend this to anyone, whether you seek to get ahead of your colleagues when it comes to promotions (let's face it, pantay-pantay kayo sa trabaho, until somebody gets an MBA degree), or if you want to start your own business. I earned a degree in Industrial Design for my under grad, and the things I learn in my graduate studies are still applicable.
