  1. i like this article..thanks enka :D

actually mens health mags are never full of BS, some you may wanna question, but most of the contents in them are written and prescribed by certified people in their fields..personally, id rather read/buy MH than MF, Ironman, etc etc (although at times i would buy them on sale just to check out their bikini/lingerie issues :D or scanning for stuff)

    just my two cents :D

I agree bro, my personal favorites are Men's Health and Men's Fitness. I look for the articles on nutrition, exercises. I admit there is a lot of advertisements but of course we just have to ignore those.

Anyways, most of the articles are written by doctors and certified experts. Happy easter!!

  2. I already know that :D In fact, I already have tried that stuff before and my body tolerated it well.

How much do you weigh Jacques? Is it possible you took a small dosage in proportion to your body weight?

How much do you weigh Boy tusok? how much did you take?

  3. I have a big tummy. How do I flatten it? Tried the exercise ball but I still have a beer belly, May muscles lang nga ngayon.

Clean up your diet bro. I used to look pregnant years ago, poor diet, regular coke, KFC etc.

Now, my diet mostly consists of grilled chicken breast, steamed broccoli, brown rice.

I lost more than 30pounds in 3 years.

you can buy the ABS POWER DIET by David Zincencko, it has lots of low fat recipes. It worked for me.

And to Olympus,: before you say this book is BS, it worked for me, OK?

  4. Both are reputable brands but still, they wont work as intended if you don't work as you should. If you saw ads of these supplements and was awed with the before and after photos, I suggest that you get a magnifying lens and go through the advertisment again. In fine fonts you'd normally miss you'll read the following: The following subjects who took the supplement underwent monitored diet and excercise routines. Results are not typical.

I agree. It's impossible to get lean just by taking supplements alone. I think strict diet and intense workouts are still the best way to go.

I took hydroxycut, it made me feel hyped up for work out, I guess that's the claim that it gives you energy to move. I did see improvements but nothing as drastic as the ads. But then of course, I was lifting more, moving more. I feel like hindi maubos energy ko.

  5. Olympus, with all the things you've been insisting that works, don't you think you are also imposing your will? I'm sure you've seen your program work for people. But what about people who've seen results in programs we can never accept? Don't you think that they too are entitled for their contributions? I admire your strong character and consistency but you have to adopt a mature and open mind here.

Key words: Mature, open mind. Well said Jacques.

  6. Let me say this and make it clear... the magazines you read are misleading you since most of these magazines proliferate lies and their sole existence is due to the supplement ads....

Most of the articles are really ads...

Now about yoru question, steady cardio will burn calories but it won't rev up your metabolism, you need to o intervals to rev up your metabolism and the lower ab area cannot be isolated... unfortunately for men, this is where most fat is stored

I agree. I also read in Mens' Fitness & Mens' Health that you should not do cardio or any exercise on an empty stomach. How many minutes do you recommend for interval training, Mr Olympus?
