  1. don't flatter yourself, wolfie. you are hardly stirring anything.

unfortunately for you and your fondness for mob rule, we have a constitutional democracy where the rule of law prevails over the influence of questionable surveys. what remains to be seen is whether the impeachment court remembers this too.

and the next time you laugh at the expense of a minority, it would serve you well to think back through history and remember those who struggled for the lives of the "few" against the oppression of the majority.

hahaha...reversal of fortune..majority of YOU, here used to (and still) defend GMA...her economic policies...and how good her administration is (was)..."rule of law" was coined by the very same people here who thinks that GMA did not steal the vote in 2004...rule of law according to them is to bring GMA court and let the courts decide...3 times the MINORITY(at that time), tried to impeach her but the rule of law prevailed (more realistically, the rule of numbers in the house)...- the law which says, impeachment is a political process...and now, the tables are turned...the 'once' minority has the numbers...and for the first time, we are going through and might complete an impeachment process ! hurray !!

dont flatter yourself either, dungeon...i used to be the minority here.. and you were part of the majority...hahaha...i struggled , hehehe..and now..? i'm just happy checking out, you, the minority ...once in a blue moon... weather - weather lang yan...meanwhile, enjoy the company of the minority for the next 4 years and 3 months...

  3. Dear Pnoy,

Please naman, makeyour critics excited here in Manilatonight by allowing naman some big timecorruption tulad ng NBN-ZTE, Chopper Scam or someone like Carlos Garcia. Please prepare na mandaya kayo to steal the 2013 elections. Baril at DVD lang ba ni Llamas ang kaya ninyo at incompetence ni Eulalio Diaz? Laki-lakihan naman ninyo ang corruption ninyo at nakakaawa naman ang mga kritiko ninyo. Walang mapag-usapan. Give your critics something to talk about. Kung ako sa inyo pigilan ninyo ang pagtaas ng PSE index or stop those foreign investments from coming in.

  4. the CONSTITUTION is very clear, the SC is the final arbiter in interpreting the law. that is why lawyers are disgusted on how de lima defied the TRO.

it seems that midas marquez is correct, from what i read in the news, the TRO still stands despite claims that one of the requirements was not complied with.

you cannot use the argument of the SC flip=flopping in other issues here. lets wait for the flip-flop before we act. the TRO should have been respected at the time it was ordered being immediately executory.

there is no logic and common sense needed in arriving at the truth. the truth is there with or without logic and common sense. logic and common sense only comes in when you are making your opinion or decision.

as to presumption of innocence, do you think GMA is entitled to it?

Galileo used common sense and logic to conclude that the earth revolves around the sun...he was jailed because the infallible catholic church said that the sun revolves around the earth...in the 16th century, galileo did not have the tools to support his conclusion...what he had was common sense and logic...that was a concrete example of what i was referring to...

in 1986, those who were at EDSA defied the Constitution, our Constitution which starts with the words "We, the Filipino People"....do the words 'of the people, by the people and for the people" ring a bell ? The constitution is also very clear about those words - "We, the sovereign Filipino People" ....and my opinion is, the majority is being subverted by a few gma appointees...

You know, personally, that I believe in the presumption of innocence...that's the reason why we are having this debate...Otherwise, I would not listen to you anymore and just shut up and enjoy being in the majority....What I would like to see is our courts allowing the use of the Garci Tapes as evidence...and not find ways to block it...What I would like to hear are the voices of Gen Gudani and Col Balutan testifying of what really happened during the 2004 elections and NOT the courts upholding the 'executive privilege' excuse of the Arroyo camp, even Neri about the ZTE/NBN deal...You are right about the "truth" being there, the judiciary should allow the truth to come out so the presumed innocent can defend themselves against their accusers...As it is, our courts have let the rich and powerful get away without making them face their accusers by granting TRO's left and right...don't you find it funny that in the US, TRO's are mostly issued for domestic violence cases?...

...wouldnt you want justice to prevail ? Let justice take its natural course and forget about the delaying tactics that the defense lawyers of gma are doing ? We both know that the gov't does NOT have an airtight case against Gloria, and that she should actually go for a speedy trial and NOT do everything in her power to get out of the country...it does not make sense or does it ?

Wouldnt you say it is time our judiciary with (midnight appointee) CJ Corona listen to what "We, the Sovereign Filipino People"...are telling him ?...It's a system of checks and balances, right ?

  5. many of the posters here dont really have first hand knowledge of the so-called facts. are you sure that what the media is presenting are indeed facts, and not opinions? or, are the so-called facts the "entire" fact/s and not mere emphasized facts?

are you also sure that your interpretation of the law, is the same as the interpretation of other lawyers

or the justices of the supreme court ?...it would seem that even midas marquez has been wrong in

his interpretation of the SC decision ?...like for instance, the TRO which he said was 'in effect' when

in fact, it wasnt because the 2nd condition was not complied with...

also, our supreme court has flipped-flopped on its decisions quite a few times...

wouldnt you think that the law is not an exact science ? and the media too ?

sometimes, we have to use logic and common sense to arrive at the truth...

dr. lambino's and dr topacio's medical bulletins to the media have been thwarted by real

physicians...it took awhile, but the truth came out...

i agree with you about 'checks and balances'...the minority should always be protected...

    also, about presumption of innocence...

we have been both exposed to the greatest democratic system in the universe...

where the best options arise because issues are debated...

i think that's the reason we both enjoy airing our points of view...

  6. Dear Pnoy,

Where are those who once accused you of being indecisive and weak President ?

Those who write before they check the facts ?...Where are they ?

Shall we put out an ad that says :

"Wanted - A real honest to goodness, poster who will carry the banner of the Opposition" ?

After all, we are a democracy, where the majority rules....

and the nation needs a credible critic of your administration...

  7. Hoy, Noy!

Will any ordinary Filipino be guilty of treason if it gives to the NPA any weapon, money or food?

The military, when they conduct information campaigns to locals in NPA infested areas, always makes it a major point that any civilian who provides the NPA any aid and comfort is guilty of treason. Does this apply to the MILF too? What is the difference between the NPA and the MILF? They are both rebel forces waging war against the government purportedly on the basis of their ideology. Would giving MILF PhP 5 Million be considered providing aid to the enemy, and therefore an act of treason?

    Get ready for impeachment.

    well..well...

apparently, the present gov't was honoring the agreement that the GMA gov't

made with the MILF...(and please dont give me the b.s. that the Pnoy gov't

shouldnt have honored a previous govt's pact )

now the question should be asked...should dureza and esperon be charged with treason ?

or are we applying double standards here ?

  8. really? you said something about economic sabotage and yet, you cannot explain it, or give me the law violated by ongping et. al?

do you really know what you are talking about?

you might be right about ongpin NOT guilty of economic sabotage...

more so, i would unequivocally declare that he is NOT guilty of anything...

on the condition that... i get the same treatment that he did...

and earn the same money that he got...

wouldnt you want the same privilege ?

if i cannot earn millions by investing saliva...

then ongpin must be at least be, morally, guilty of something ?

the law applies to everyone, right ?

i want the same law, whatever that is, that applied to ongpin to apply to me too ...

that law that says you can invest 100K and earn hundreds of millions in return...

(when everybody knows that a profit of 12-18% in the corporate world is considered

    the norm)

    that's the law i want...

  9. Pnoy's law of association. you must be guilty of a thousand and one crimes if you are associated with the Arroyos.

This law of association should apply to everybody, since it is a law. GMA's version is - if you were NOT associated

with her during her time, then you probably were NOT corrupt. Ex-Gov Panlilio showing us bundles of money

worth 500,000 pesos after attending a malacanang function might be a prime example.

  10. dear Noynoy,

I like your style...like your mom, you have patience, understanding and a grasp of what the filipinos' wants and needs are...

like your dad, you can play politics, which is a must in an effective governance...

but what i like the most in you is how you have made it your passion to run after the crooks

who had made this beautiful and rich country a basketcase...

go after them ! and don't waver...

like every other member of the 'masa', i want these crooks to know that crime does not pay...

that the taxes i pay are meant for the much needed services to the filipino people

and not the pockets of the few, the rich and the powerful...

you will and are bound to make a few wrong decisions, but that's alright...

(as compared to the unelected gloria who did not do anything right)...

    stay the course...

  11. 80% ? What a joke! Is 12 million voters 80% of 100 Million? Check your math.

Would they disagree with me now? It only shows how detached you are from what is really happening HERE in the Philippines. It is evident that you haven't had a chance of talking to real Filipinos on the streets lately. Many of them are now regretting they voted for Noynoy. You wouldn't see that frome the comforts of where you are right now.

hahaha, now you are accusing me na wala ako dito sa pinas...

    mali ka naman...wrong assumption...

dont worry, i have my ears to the ground...

i concede that there's quite a humongous expectation from Pnoy...

    but that's our culture...gusto lahat dole-outs...

most would look for padrinos rather than improve their abilities and capabilities...

the present gov't is moving heaven and earth to change that culture...

including your own personal culture na banat ng banat without giving an alternative option...

there are critics...which is part of the democratic process...

but most would say that they are better off without your beloved (unelected)president GMA....ergo, the 80%....

  12. Oh yes, I do have respect for the Office of the President. But I don't have any respect for Noynoy. He's a disgrace to the Office.

How about your former President Reagan, do you respect him? You said he is stupid....

please re-read my post about President Reagan and you might find a tinge of sarcasm there...

as for Pnoy being a disgrace...well, 80% of Pinoys would disagree with you....

i have to concede that, probably, 20% are still dreamers who would want GMA back...

you and i are students of politics, and we both know that in a democracy, the majority rules...

funny that the tables have been turned...i used to be the critic and you were the apologist....hehehe...

  13. ^^^

If that was so, then your President Reagan and our President Noynoy are indeed stupid.

there's one positive aspect in your comment...you called Noynoy 'our' president which is good...

now, if we could only respect the office of the president...and disagree without being disagreeable...

    about issues...

    then there's hope...

  14. oh yah, i do remember that. air controllers are goverment employees thus

the president being head of the goverment can do what he wish.

in this case, PAL is private entity so what the f#&k is ABNOY's business with

it not unless he is a share holder ng PAL. dahil dito, he realized later & got his

hands off the issue. tanga talaga, akala nya family owned pa nila eh matagal ng

wala sa mga kamag-anak nya ang PAL.

then going by your assumptions that gov't has no right to interfere with private businesses...

and then thinking again about your knowledge of recent history...

it must be a wrong thing for ex president bush/paulson to save the PRIVATE AIG from financial collapse...

ergo, also, general motors and chrysler motors which were given billions of dollars to stave of

closure...not to mention, wells fargo, bank of america, chase etc given stimulus dollars ....

why is it alright for the US gov't to step in and save private companies but not Pnoy ?

you mentioned that you agree with gov't stepping in...right ?...isn't Noynoy the highest official of the gov't?

  15. I agree that goverment should step in that is the job for DOLE. But for the president himself taking side and looking for legal action against

one side of the coin is totally uncalled for his stupidity. Obviously the DOLE secretary could not anymore mediate fairly as the stupid boss already

has prejudge who should be held accountable.

then it should be assumed that ronald reagan is more stupid than Pnoy...if you remember your history correctly,

reagan in the 80's fired all traffic controllers who went on strike...the stupid reagan, as you put it, 'prejudged who should

    be held accountable'...

  16. i dont agree with exposing shenanigans of the previous administration is one way of fighting corruption. its more of a diversionary tactic for me. its easy to beat up or make the past administration the whipping boy of the current administration.

hey jopoc !....one of aquino's 'attack dogs' wrote something which you might be interested in (or probably not?)..

.somehow, mayroong katotohanan sa sinasabi niya...kailangan lang, we have to open our eyes....

there's a good definition of persecution and justice here...

  17. Sorry but I don't get it. If as you say, it is under Pinoy's time that he made the three branches truly independent, then why is he trying to reform those who are supposed to be independent of him? If you are independent, would you like the idea of someone trying to reform you? Of course not. You would probably say "mind your own business". So, whoever it is that is trying to reform you would be wasting his time, because you wouldn't care less

    this might explain your quandary...

"A bully pulpit is a public office or other position of authority of sufficiently high rank that provides the holder with an opportunity to speak out and be listened to on any matter. The bully pulpit can bring issues to the forefront that were not initially in debate, due to the office's stature and publicity.

This term was coined by President Theodore Roosevelt, who referred to the White House as a "bully pulpit," by which he meant a terrific platform from which to advocate an agenda. Roosevelt famously used the word bully as an adjective meaning "superb" or "wonderful" (a more common expression in his time than it is today)"

just as justice corona would speak his mind about the executive, pnoy could also use his bully pulpit ...

Pnoy is going by the rules when it comes to the independence of the 3 branches of gov't compared with GMA who

allegedly lied, cheated and stole to try and control all 3 branches...

i'm sorry, too...because if you don't get it by reading my political speculations a second time...

it is my belief that you might never get politics at all...

  18. This is I think one of Pinoy's problem. He is trying to reform the judiciary. Someone in his staff probably forgot to tell him that in the Philippines there are three independent branches of government. Maybe it's that person who forgot to give the phone call. ha ha ;)

actually, it is under Pnoy's aegis when the 3 branches of gov't became independent..that was the reform...

during GMA's era, the legislative and executive, though, supposedly independent of each other was controlled by the president

using bags of money to make the legislators toe the line...for instance, during the GMA impeachment....

    ask father panlilio...

fortunately, the judicial branch remained independent...or else we could have been under martial rule....

but only until gma was able to appoint enough of her loyalists to tilt the balance...jopoc must have been

referring to corona (accepting gma's midnight appointment)

when jopoc said something about delicadeza not observed in the phils...

but of course, all of my speculations are just that...speculations...but did you ever wonder about that saying...

"where there is smoke, there is fire" ?...or maybe this one..."if it walks like a duck...etc..etc.."

  19. that is the difference between US politics and the philippines.

inthe US, a oublic official who becomes part of a scandal, whether it is about corruption or not (like weiner), they have the delicadeza to resign. in the philippines, no such thing.

anyway, we are not legally obligated to have delicadeza.

i do NOT know whether you are feigning knowledge ...

but unlike in the arroyo administration when 'kapit tuko' is the order of the day, there have been quite a few resignations in the NEW administration...7 as of the last count...

even merceditas tendered hers (after a visit from GMA?) though i doubt if gutierrez has suddenly come to her senses...i think it is more likely that she is tired of lying for gloria...a gracious exit, so to speak...

there is hope...delicadeza, which was lost during the arroyo reign, is making a comeback, albeit, slowly... very slowly...please go back in our history and you will learn that there was, actually, such a thing, delicadeza, when filipinos would rather have HONOR than wealth or power...it is difficult to re-learn the traits our nation used to have, but shouldn't we, at least try, instead of joining the bandwagon of cheaters, liars and thieves ? Do you think the Arroyos and their cohorts will take us there ? Or will Pnoy be a better choice ?

  20. you said it, the recording is inadmissible in court. in legal parlance, it is called fruit of the poisonous tree.

so, in a trial by publicity, guilty nga sya, pero in court, malabong pareho ang hatol.

what do you really mean by trial by publicity ?...that GMA is guilty...can this be paralleled with Nixon

who was also tried by the press ?.....and everybody in American knows he was guilty ...and he paid for it..

a legal question to you...may the supreme court decide to do away with the anti-wire tapping law if it

feels that there is no justice in the 2004 elections ?...perhaps nixon v. united states might help clear the air ?

because the supreme court can 'interpret' the law as they wish...would you think carpio might interpret the law

differently from CORONA, a GMA midnight appointee ?

as for your supposed "presumption of innocence" for every filipino...why have you already "convicted" whistleblowers

as EXTORTIONISTS ?....i can enumerate to you quite a few who are not...why would you stand for presumption of innocence

when it is with regards to the arroyos and their cohorts....but when it comes to whistleblowers you have lumped them into

extortionists...? tsk...tsk...the lady with the blindfold is peeking and the scale is unbalanced ?...hehehe...

  21. better prosecutors? look, the DOJ secretary and the Ombudsman are both Pnoy appointees. so what utang na loob are you looking for?

rowena's best qualification in pag-ibig is basically the best qualification Puno, Torres, alvarez all have...... TRUST AND CONFIDENCE OF THE PRESIDENT.

likewise, Renato Corona and Merceditas Gutierrez who were both appointed by GMA...they have the "trust and confidence of " GMA...

Ironic that Pnoy protects his appointees...whilst with GMA, her appointees protects her...
