    Just visited hundred islands a week ago. Paid tourism fee of about 3k including medium boat fee of 2k (good for 10 people) for a day tour. Sobrang sulit. Malinis at maganda ang islands. Tourism office will hand you two plastic bags where you can put all your trash. You can get 200 pesos from tourism office when you bring back your trash to the mainland.

    For the opportunities and career advancements, sad to say, you have to be abroad. Employers here in the PH prefer those with international experience or abroad (balikbayan or so) over those with careers built up from the PH. I guess this is also part of the colonial mentality.
