  1. Jacobs in Manila, around Ubelt area near UST. good bang for the buck, bring atleast 500 pesos for buckets of drinks and pulutan. Cheapest I found, but the place gets too crowded with students.
  2. Tavern is a decent hotel, but their beds feels moist all the time. Creesante is an affordable hotel too with aesthetic rooms. But I'd advice booking the ground floor rooms if you're with a group because their comfort rooms are common. Kabsat is a great place to eat if you have decent cash, and the dampa along the highway also have good food for tighter budgets. I highly recommend flotsam jetsam for partying, be prepared to have atleast 15k to have a good time in this bar.
  3. Best fuel saving tip I found based on experience is 1 Coasting, You dont have to keep pressing the accelerator to move. Coasting on downhills and in moderate traffic will save you alot of fuel. 2 use injector cleaners for maintenance, it'll keep your fuel lines from being clogged. 3 change air filters and fuel filters, it'll save you a ton of fuel by keeping your air/fuel mixture ratio balanced. Dirtyfilters forces the engine to use more fuel than air. 4 travel light and keep your tire inflated. Keep your accessories minimal and use lighter mags and tires, it'll make it easier for your engine to run. Heavier = more force needed to accelerate = more fuel. Keeping your tires inflated to atleast 34 to 35 psi, keeps your tires from having more rolling friction against the road. But be mindful more psi means less comfortable ride. And bigger mags and tires may seem cooler, but it reduces your overall fuel consumption. Switching from 17s to 20s heavier mags may add to your fuel consumption by atleast 1 to 2 liters per km. Aside from exorbitant prices of aftermarket parts, it also burns a hole in your pockets in the long run.
  4. For underchassis parts, avoid going to Gelig Auto parts. Malakas sila sa facebook ads, but they'll charge inflated prices for reconditioned parts, selling it as brand new original.
