I have a condo in Makati and all the outlets are in 220v. I wish to use some US sourced appliances and these use 110V power. Paano ba mako-convert ang 220V outlet to 110v?

We're thinking of purchasing a land in Laguna for a resthouse. Is it cheaper to hire a local contractor to build our house or one from Metro Manila?

Anyone been to Nigi Nigu Nu Noos in Bora. We used to stay there years ago and planning on using the same place when we visit Bora this July? Ok pa rin ba itong place na ito?

Simple lang ito...if you're doing good here in the Philippines you'd rather stay. But if you're not and you have the oppurtunity, you'll go in a heartbeat.

Hanga ako sa mga OFW...they work hard outside the country, send back home their hard-earned money to make a better life for their family. Those money generate much-needed local jobs and in turn keeps our economy afloat.

For me, I'm doing this for my children..once they're settled and going back home.

Here's my view regarding this topic:

My principle in life is it's better to help those in need rather than be the one asking for help.

1. Nagpautang ako sa former high school classmate ko. Then nalaman ko ng scammer pala...may kasong illegal recruiting tapos ipanangutang ang panggastos niya. Siya pa ang galit dahil maliit lang ang ipinautang ko sa kanya. Buti na lang. This was about 2 years ago, wala nang balita kung plano pa akong bayaran. Latest news from my other classmates...masipag pa ring mangutang. Malapit na ang reunion namin sigurado na namang mangungutang ito.

2. Pinautang ko rin ang "former" best friend ng misis ko. P30K at pampagawa raw ng kotse para maibenta na at babayaran ako once mabenta yung tsikot. 2 years na hindi na sumasagot sa mga emails.

Ok lang sana kung once in a while you contact me and let me know that you're still planning on settling your debt but can't do so for the meantime. Pero kung bigla na lang kayong mawawala....lokohan na yan.

kulang sa disiplina...siguro dahil na rin sa kakulangan ng tamang edukasyon..kasi kung kulang sa pera uunahin munang maghanapbuhay kesa mag-aral.

H&L outside Metro Manila and a condo inside MM preferably close to your place of work..ito ang ideal scenario...weekday sa condo ka then weekend relax ka lang sa bahay mo outside MM (siguro Tagaytay, Laguna or Batangas).
