JUPITER
@Ithilien: You're better off with SunFire subwoofers. The best subwoofer I've heard so far. I've tested B&W, Yamaha, JBL, Wharfedale, Infinity to name a few and the best is the SunFire. the 10" model starts at 190K though. Quote Link to comment
barong_guy
ako labtec pulse 350 sa pc. bose acoustimass sa he (O.T. any takers hehehehe) Quote Link to comment
francoMigz
wishlist ko ang Bose, best speakers ive heard so far, fidelity is great. Kaso mahal, kahit na acoustimas 5 or acoustimas 10, libo-libo ang halaga. read that the same (or so) engineers from bose are also the ones behind the altec lansing development, and have heard some tests (not bought any yet) they are good tapos di pa gaanong mahal. surrently I am contented (kasi ala pa budget) using the speakers of my sony mini component, surround speakers 2 front, 1 center, 2 rear, 3400 watts p.m.p.o., old but still kicks good bass lalo na pag war movies... nagagalit nga kapitbahay yeh.he.he.he. Quote Link to comment

hitman531ph
You should also check on compatibility of the amplifier or receiver to the speakers. We once used a Pioneer receiver to power a Cannon-type Pyle Driver about ten years back, and the Pyle Driver sounded terrible. However, when we connected it to a Yamaha receiver, the same set of speakers sounded fantastic Quote Link to comment
