jumpman23
Here's another one... who normally gets paid more? <{POST_SNAPBACK}>It depends on the company. Maybe this company A pays its network admin more than company B's programmers or company C pays its programmers more than company B's programmers but pays less for its network administrators. fir3st0rm
Anybody... What the best I.T. profession out in the market? (Software Development, Network Administration?, Database Admin? etc. ) Kindly share your thoughts..... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know they pay a lot of money overseas for SAP Consultants and for Security Specialists .. but like eagleyes mentioned, the best job is the job where you love what your doing, whether your a programmer, system analyst, system integrator, net admin, dba, technical support or what have you.. sometimes monetary compensation is not the only consideration but it sure helps alot hehehe.. mark_pogi
IMO, working in a cal center as network admin, systems engr or any IT job gives you high pay. but of course, it depends on the company that ur working with. Quote Link to comment

antonsky
my assumptions are: that you are receiving that salary on a monthly basis in a local company and paying that 200k tax.minimum tax charge for a consultant is 10% otherwise if you are declared as a regular employee the charge would be more that that rate, so meaning your receiving a gross of 2M monthly? a senior executive position in a consulting firm who offers services on SAP dont even received that amount. a sr. executive position in a multi natlt. company who implemented SAP don't also received that much so i don't really understand how did you arrived on that figure. and if your really earning that 2M monthly bakit ka pumapatol sa 500k lang na pusta ko? any fellows who earn as much as that figure don't waste their time on this thread and such kind of argument. i'm sure alot of us in this forum would be interested to know how did you arrived on that figure. And these are certified SAP consultants already. Tapos 20k lang (10%) lang ang tax monthly. Although i am not doubting you, it is still possible that you can have 200k/month in taxes if you are handling multiple SAP project implementations in separate consultancy positions. If you want a high paying work regarding Cisco then pursue a CCIE certification, quite expensive but the reward is great. Quote Link to comment
