hirap talaga mapigilan ang urge na mag smoke pag pagod ... pero kung kaya, iwasan na lang.

They shouldn't be together. Saka pag may real fitness goals ka, I believe smoking is one of the first things to go...

siguro it depends sa objective mo why you workout, if pang body building ang program mo di ka talaga dapat mag smoke, pero if like me na pang body conditioning lang ang program you can still smoke if you wish... i smoke too, the effect nakaka hingal syempre, bottom line is whether your weightlifting or not smoking is bad for the health... yun nga lang masarap...

Air circulation inside your body is important while exercising. Smoking hinders it.

Smoking cause shortness of breath and reduces your stamina. Not to mention, constricts the diameter of your veins.

I didnt read the other posts I just skipped through the topic maybe it was mentioned but Ill mention it again (smoking eats away muscle cells) hehehe. Youre body building for what if you smoke? More effort to gain muscles for smokers and more effort to maintain and retain muscles.

i smoke before i enter the gym, and i smoke after i exit the gym..,

smoking wise.., if you smoke, the nicotines and all the bad stuffs in a cigarette will quickly enter you cells and bloodstreams if you workout..,

so i prefer to quit smoking as much as possible..,

Smoking causes VASOCONSTRICTION while weight-lifting is ANAEROBIC. Not compatible! :lol:

The only thing that is meant to be inhaled in this world is a mixture of nitrogen & oxygen called "air",
its the only thing that has a positive effect on the human body. Everything else is self-destruction,
what do you feel after nicotine invades your bloodstream? mild euphoria? It's just a forced state of calmness. Its Fake.

I know some people who smoke pag hinihingal sila at pagod na pagod :blink:
hindi lang after lifting weights and doing cardio, after straining the body at physical work.
its the body that needs relaxation not the mind, its just the "relaxed" mind shuting up the complaining body.

Smoking slows down muscle building. Smoking increases your cortisol levels and interrupts the absorption of proteins, vitamins & minerals.
