Tonkotsu ramen:

Yushoken is great! Have yet to try ippudo, ukkokei and ikkoryu.

Ramen Nagi - each component tastes good but the proportions of ingredients and condiments as arranged in the bowl seem wrong so there's something slightly off with the taste.

Santouka is good also.

Shio and shoyu:

Shinjuku! If on a smaller budget, go for Fukuya.

Havent really compared tantanmen and miso ramen from branch to branch so can't comment yet.

Ramen Nagi. Tried the one in MOA. There is usually a long line, but when we passed by, waiting time lang was 10 mins. So wait kami. It was worth the 10 minute wait.

Tried the Shio ramen from both Ryu and Ramen Nagi. Walang sinabi yung Ryu sa Ramen Nagi. Pero forte daw ng Ryu ay tantanmen, so kailangan pa bumalik para masubukan.

There seems to be growing trend of Japanese noodles specialty places. Or some of them that has been around for a long while have now become more visible and popular.

So for Japanese noodle lovers, share your favorites in this thread!

I like the noodle place on promenade. Hokkaido Ramen Santouka
