nag-iinvest ako sa shoes hindi dahil sa name brand kundi dahil sa quality at pagka-classic ng sapatos nila. hindi sa nagyayabang pero kung familiar kayo sa pagtahi ng leather shoes, ang paggaawa ng "lasts", ang pagtahi ng welts, etc, etc, ang bibilhin kong italian o british name brand na 5x ang presyo ng ordinary shoes ay 10x kong susuotin at 10x din ang lifespan.

 

sa ngayon cezare paccioti,ferragamo at gucci na classics pa rin ang trip ko (hindi yung bling-bling loafers nila!) at kung umabot na sa araw na maykaya na ako, minamata ko na ang john lobb, ed green, kiton at santoni. sa mga u.s. brands naman ang maganda talagang qualty ay allen-edmonds at johnston & murphy. okay na rin ang ralph lauren pero medyo iwasan niyo ang kenneth cole lalo na ang reaction line niya.

for me rubber shoes nike, any thong sandals will do, for fomal rusty lopez suits my needs... pero Doc Martens pa rin for all weather boots!

Recently bought the Chuck Taylor leather black hi-cut shoes worn by Will Smith in the movie I-Robot.. Succumbed to its looks kahit medyo mahal para sa Chucks.. Php3,990.00 kasi eh.. But its worth as I am now very happy just by looking at my new pair of shoes.. ganda kasi eh.. Astig eh.. :thumbsupsmiley:

base sa nakita ko sa oakley footwear, ang nagpapamahal lang naman sa kanya ay ang pangalang oakley. although mukhang astig siya pagtinitingnan mo sa tindahan, medyo mahirap bagayan mga designs nila lalo na kung porma mo lang ay jeans at t-shirt o kaya naka-walking shorts ka lang.

 

sa presyong 5-6t, bumili ka na lang ng adidas originals sa shangri-la mall, o kaya puma o mga nike old school models.

Luol, haven't seen any white leather chucks here, in the PI.. What other colors do they have abroad? I've seen some brown leather chucks but these are fakes.. mostly sold in Greenhills' tiangges..

 

Its a good thing they haven't faked the black leather ones.. dami tuloy nakatingin sa chucks ko kahapon sa Greenhills.. hehe!! :thumbsupsmiley:

Revi we have both white and black leather Chucks, there is another leather one like limited edition John Lenon ones (basically white leather chucks but with this world peace symbol). But thats about it really....

 

You will know if the leather is fake its very easy to spot, hehe im sure Greenhills will get some up soon!!!

Just bought a pair of Puma rubber shoes.. retro..

 

FYI.. Puma is on 50% off.. All shoes.. coz I think they will phase out all old styles and maglalabas sila ng mga bago.. Bought mine at Robinsons Cainta - Planet Sports.. :thumbsupsmiley:
