habagat
magkano hotels rates dun? pa post namn na pic. , planning to go there by june pa after my assignment here in la union, how long yung drive from baguio? how was the food there? thanks for the info guys hotels? i guess 1500-3000 plus per night. there are a LOT of cheaper Inns beside the Hotels. Try Saint Joseph's Cottages there, it's in the internet. How long is the drive? we did it 4-5hours using Halsema Highway from Baguio. If you are more daring, try the Banaue - Bontoc - Sagada - Baguio Route. Banaue - Sagada is around 6 hours of pure bliss and isolation. But be very ready for untoward landslides. Food is great. Go to Log Cabin Cafe if you wanna impress someone or even yourself. It's the "date," i mean; if your going to propose... this is it. Yogurt House is also decent but service is slow. Masferre's Cafe is also decent but relatively normal food. The cafe at the first floor of Ganduyan Inn is the BEST breakfast creeps on earth (hehehe im bias but its my reality). We stayed at george's guest house. its a decent place with a lot of space to offer. its a house but it's a good one and a cheap one. you can also have drinking sessions at the rooftop if you can brave the 4degree breeze in the evening. PS, the sunrise in the rooftop is AMAZING. you have a view of the rice terraces with the place. anyway; tulog muna ako. ano ba meron dyan sa sagada, diba kabundokan na yan. madami. oo kabundukan na. habagat
It's better to drive to Sagada using 4x4 vehicle. My first trip was in 1992. I've been going back ever since. If you ever go up, wake up around 5:30 a.m. and listen to the town crier who recites shakespear every morning. yeah! we used ca sentra way back 1996 tapos nalaspag hehehe. but we "evolved" thru the years. we used dmax ang frontier last 2006. pretty good roads na rin. guys go to www.FLICKR.com and search SAGADA. marc10
:thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment
Dyords01
Huwag pumunta sa Holy Week dito. Traffic ang abutin nyo sa caves at puno ang Inns. Dun na lang kayo sa hospital pwede matulog or magcamp na lang kayo sa labas. In case na naubusan ng Inns you could ask people around kung sino pwede mga houses na pwede kayo magstay. some offer there houses for stay kasi usually anlalaki bahay wala naman nakatira. S14
anyone can give me a clearer direction? any help would be appreciated Quote Link to comment

From Manila, go to Baguio. Pass Session Road, then head to Leonard Wood Road. When you reach the rotonda, you will see Wright Park in front. Go left and head to St. Joseph's church. The road beside it leads to Halsema. The road on your right leads to Mansion and Minesview. Please update us on the condition of Halsema if you plan to pass there soon. Quote Link to comment
