nuttymags
bro compared to farrockaway, kingsbridge is definitely much more safer. and in terms of work daming nursing home dyan. and montefiore hospital is very near. sa farrockaway if you go by train A by nightime, eh dapat lagi kang handa. heard and witnessed how this people do their nastiness on that train. kung may makita ka mura sa kingsbrige go gets mo na yan. i used to go by boston post road and leave work by 1 in the morning, no problem naman. this is near montefiore hospital. id6230
Tips for a new york city explorer .1. Buy the 7 day metro pass (unlimited ride for metro train and bus).2. Always try to visit museums /towers/cruises when they open first thing in the morning.3. Manhattan is walkable from the staten island ferry terminal all the way to Harlem and beyond. Good sidewalks.4.Cheaper to take the train from the airport to downtown manhattan (p.s. air train is a separate fare from the metro train).5.Broadway tickets are cheaper if you line up first thing in the morning at the "ticket outlet" . One in time square and one in southport?6. If you want a quick open tour for Manhattan and beyond, take the new york city bus tour. 7. If you want to haggle for bargains go to chinatown.8. Public transit system is very good. You can go anywhere by train/bus almost 24 hours a day.9. Good walking trail are the High Line (train tracks converted to walking trail and Brooklyn bridge.10. Windsor
Citibike is a great way to explore the city and surrounding borough. Yup taking a bike is a great way to see the city. But please be reminded not to go beyond 100th street in manhattan. Kinda dangerous there. Also, here's a quick tip. Take the 6 train going downtown the until the end of the ride at Brooklyn bridge. When they say "last stop". DON'T leave the subway at Brookyln bridge and dont worry the train will loop to the otherside going up town. The train will eventually move and you'll get to see the secret subway stop which was used in 1950. You have to see this when visiting this great city because they might take it down. New York...... miss ko na. Let me know if ya need help in getting around. I lived there for 12 years... sistinenine
Make sure to visit the BROOKLYN BRIDGE PARK at sunset. Stay there until night time. People make the mistake of visiting the BK Bridge park on the Manhattan side. Visiting the BK side allows you to view the beautiful Manhattan skyline. Quote Link to comment
gambit042310
there is also a free ferry where you can get a glimpse of liberty pa staten island. it just a bit far view di mo na kailangan magsiksikan dun mismo.sa mga shoppers sa wall street may ross dun for those people alam na kung ano ross. sa 911 banda may century 21 signature brand mababa price. 😀 Quote Link to comment
