wow, 1500$ = 63k, couldnt imagine myself buying one, my casio is a mr.G also except its all digital alamost the same tone, bought it almost 8 years ago. i could buy a SINN flieger for 63k, but i guess ur really a casio fan, now im a seiko fan, and i might shell out 63 k for a seiko that ill die for. hehe

anyways, its still a very nice watch, and sure looks sturdy to last a lifetime, congrats!

here is the sellers description of the watch...

The MRG-7500BJ-1AJF is Casio’s top of the line G-Shock model. The case and bracelet is pure titanium with DLC treatment. With tough solar technology, it ensures that you never need to change a battery nor run out of power, assuming you keep the watch in a well lit area. DLC and saphire crystal makes this an extremely durable watch, virtually scratch proof. Multiband 5 technology allows radio reception in most parts of the world. Great for the world traveller, having the right time, all the time.

* ±20 seconds a month at non-reception

* Shock resistant built

* Titanium case and bracelet with DLC coating

* Saphire crystal

* Perpetual calendar

* Tough solar

* Water resistant up to 20 atmosphere

* Automatic operation reception (maximum of 6 times/day)/manual reception

* < Japan > reception radio wave: JJY and frequency: 40kHz/60kHz

* < the North American region > reception radio wave: WWVB and frequency: 60kHz

* < European area > reception radio wave: MSF/DCF77 and frequency: When 60kHz/77.5kHz

* Worldwide 27 cities (29 time zones) time indication and daylight-saving time setting

* Time alarm

* Battery charge warning

Wow kidneythief!

That is a nice watch...My Giez has exactly the same specs(module 4777), except for the titanium, sapphire crystal and the hefty price tag. Congratulations sir! I'm sure you will get a lot of envious stares.

Please post some wrist shots to make us watch fans salivate... :evil:

Suteki, yes, the Giez GS-1100 is made in Japan, unlike the ones sold in the mall, GS-1001(non-solar,non-atomic), are cased in Thailand.

Hi Vanexel, try some Casios, I haven't worn the Blue GS-1100 I posted. so if you are interested.....hehe......just let me know.

I intend to put the Seikos in my display case, them being vintage pieces, and wear this one instead as my daily watch:

25th anniversary Master Blue Frogman

Solar, Auto Backlight, Programmable 10 timezones, 3 daily alarms, countdown timer, stopwatch, ID,Passport,Bloodtype info,

dive timer, ISO 200 meters water resist. Titanium body.

Sir Vanexel, and you guys who are not convinced of Casio's capabilities, watch this:.... :thumbsupsmiley:

shark, i didnt say that i was not convinced with casio's capabilities, in reality i know that my casio might outlive all my other watches without the cost of repairs, only battery change will make it live a lifetime, i just cant fathom myself buying a casio thats worth that much, pero if i really can afford it, then why not. good day shark
