I kinda strayed a bit from Seiko, he he. Most of my collection are vintage ones so I don't wear them everyday. This one I will wear daily, as of now. He he.... Quote Link to comment
vanexel
i actully bought the Mr. G for more than 10k, its practical for everyday use, but thinking of the 10K plus, i could have bought 2 seikos. Quote Link to comment

sharkrolex
Sir shark, i hope its still not late to say congratz to your new GIEZ :thumbsupsmiley: Techie ToughThanks sir tom! Today's actually the first day I wore it outside. It took me a while to find an affordable Casio that was still made in the land of the rising sun. I feel that a proper Japanese brand should naturally be made in Japan. Also, if I were to buy a quartz timepieceit should at least be solar powered. I got more than I expected from the Giez GS1100. Good thing the guy(ebay merchant), accepted bidpay and agreed to ship the watch here sa Pinas, right to my doorstep! And this time I wasn't chargedan impossible fee for the taxes. Unlike my previous experience. I saw a similar model at the mall, a few days ago, Casio Giez GS1001 selling for 10,995 pesos, but to my dismay, it was "Japan mov't-cased in Thailand", and not solar powered. I was almost tempted by the 18mos 0% interest payment scheme.Good thing I was able to control my urge to get it right away. I envy you 'coz you are right there where youcan buy Japan domestic pieces be it Casio or our favorite Seiko. Quote Link to comment
agent_tom
I can see how happy you are in your new aquisition.Good thing that you waited & got the right piece.Based on the looks & specs,It is really a complete package. Wear it in good health sir. :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment

gerrylb
Has anyone scuba dive with their gshocks? How deep did you go? Don't have a g-shock, but I have gone down to 50 ft with my Casio edifice. I suppose the g-shock can withstand similar preasures. Quote Link to comment
