Nemesis
What do you guys think is the best browser? Personally, I think Mozilla Firefox is head and shoulders above the competition. Opera used to be my favorite, but it's slowly approaching bloatware status which is a shame since its multi-window interface is better than Mozilla's. Internet Explorer sucks, and I only use it when I have no other choice. Like here in the office. Quote Link to comment
Dekampanilla
Yup. Mozilla user here as well. I used to love Opera. However, I could never get it to work with download accelerator plus. Cheers! Quote Link to comment
Wiasep
Any other web browser? .... Quote Link to comment
menime
Any other web browser? .... If you have lotus notes it has a built in browser similar to opera. I used to love opera but i think microsoft is intentionally nudging it to not work with windows, have problems decoding some websites with it. Quote Link to comment
roxysnonie
i currently have three, mozilla's firefox, avant browser and opera. both opera and avant browser have multi window browsing, whilst firefox is simple to use... i'd consider avant to be the up and coming browser of choice. try it! Guest Dobermaxx
I'm using netscape 7.2 and opera. I like netscape for the email interface. Opera's tabbed browsing is nice as well as it's download manager but every once in a while the program freezes on me especially whe i have a lot of tabs open. Does anyone else experience this? Oral Specialist
I currently use Maxthon, formerly MyIE2. Based on IE obviously but uses tabbed browsing, site groups, built in pop-up and ad stoppers, and uses less resources than IE. I like it when a crash occurs and you reload the program, it asks if you'd like to reload those sites that you were viewing before the crash occurred. [KupZ]
just like most of you, i also use firefox... I only use IE to download updates..... Quote Link to comment
CyberRay
Opera / M2 is still one of my favorite ever since.. In fact i even deployed this baby on 675 workstations on our network without a glitch and set it as a primary browser replacing the security risk Internet explorer/outlook express for good. Unlike firefox, It isn't an I.T approve browser because it is using its on protocols to bypass network firewalls and finding its own route out to the Internet which will surely gonna give administrators a BIG headache... Flash Sentry
I use IE6. Dunno, never did find the need to switch to another browser. IE also is friendly with most HTML tags, so I still prefer this. Quote Link to comment

IE also is friendly with most HTML tags, so I still prefer this. ie is not more friendly with most html tags, its more friendly to poorly designed/written sites. if you see something that renders poorly in a gecko based browser (mozilla/netscape/firefox) but looks good in ie, that only means there's something wrong with the code not the browser. Quote Link to comment
