Fahfrd
Mrs. Bacani, Biology teacher at GCHS during my sophomore year in HS. She was also our homeroom teacher and class advisor. The first teacher who ever recognized the potential in me. She was the only one ever, to that point, who tried to nurture that potential. Because of her, I started to really exert myself. Got 4th honor in class during the year. I went straight 1st honors from there onwards. Mrs. Bacani, you are the best teacher I have ever had. You have made possible all that I have achieved, Ma'am. I am just sorry that I wasn't able to tell this to you when I had the chance. Quote Link to comment

KristinLavransdatr
Dr. M. he is the man! i liked him so much i wrote about him at PDI which the entire language department read. i thought he'd like it, though. but he didn't quite like the idea that i wrote about the incident between him and one of the marcoses. dang! he is this tough professor and each time he would lament not having the time and the patience to read this thick, high-sounding german novel. to make him read it, i volunteered to make it as my report material in one of his classes. TheGeneral
Ms. Fernando - a lady professor at San Beda College with a very striking resemblance of miriam defensor santiago... she had it all... looks, hair, height, poise, diction, including ideology. we always debate in class 'coz while she teaches filipino, she always finds ways to talk about issues and she's always biased when current events & social issues are concerned. one time we debated on the issue of the US Bases... that was back in '90, i was a freshman in college then, as in one-on-one debate (during class, fyi) and she was vey much anti-US. well, i ain't a pushover, didn't really care whether she was my professor or not, i bombarded her with my attacks on the issues and she ended up staggering and eventually crying... in front of the whole class... i never apologized... never liked the way she brainwashes the students whenever she had the chance. i never got reprimanded though and she can't get back to me on other means 'coz i was maintaining my high GPA... and there's no grade for conduct in college... one good thing that was well in my favor... just wanted to show her that we have our own rights for our own stand on issues, even as students and we can not just accept whatever it is that the professors want to impart on us.
