courtesanhunter
Edmund Dantes
Yes. This is not really my bread and butter though. I am a scientist by profession. Teaching is a small part of what I do. But I can say that if I did not need money, its something I would do for free. I really enjoy it a lot Quote Link to comment
ZaalbartErol
I think at some point in time, everyone becomes a teacher of sort... even if you choose to be alone. Minsan unconsciously we set an example to follow and that somehow makes us teachers.... unknowingly and unwillingly teaching others. Just like how OGs and revered members here to casual lurkers and even old timers who just read their comments... their experiences somehow guides new, current and future members of this community. gujab
Experience is the best teacher. 😅😁 Joking aside, I'm an instructor of some training sort during vacation in Ph. Mostly gents are my trainees. Very rare in our field that I would encounter a lady. Quote Link to comment
jgpron23
Quitted. Learned that wanting to teach isn't enough especially if financially security is one of your main priorities in life (in the Philippines, at least). Although I can say that I had the passion to teach, the harsh reality of being financially secure and capable dawned on me as time passed by, and became a corporate sellout. Quote Link to comment
JosephKeys
I am not a teacher by educational degree or license. I usually get invited to train young radio broadcasters or multimedia art students on practical skills not well covered in undergrad. My fee ranges from free to 15k+ ranges from the type of seminar I'm handling or my connection with the institution. Basically, I talk about the softwares and hardwares; common mistakes and misconceptions in the field. Maybe some motivational talks to pursue the field. TL:DR No, but Yes Edited Tuesday at 12:40 PM by JosephKeys Quote Link to comment
