bosero
can relate ako... weird though...taas din suicide rate sa batch namin...there were known attempted (and one successful) suicides sa batch namin ng high school, hanggang college. and more than half of the batch have failed marriages. epekto kaya to ng walang religion o moral instruction nung h.s? Suicide rate sa amin has something to do with EXPECTATIONS. Napanuod mo ba ang 'Gattaca'. Relate kami sa character ni Jude Law (Jerome Morrow -- who was genetically 'perfect'). Pisay kasi high school ko eh, where getting anything less than perfect is not good enough. 99+ NCEE score was the norm in our school. ganun din pala sa inyo? kami everyday parang bine-brain wash ng principal namin...palaging nagsispeech ng.."you are the cream of the crop, the best of the best..etc.etc.."...parang hitler extolling the aryan race..galit nga principal namin nung 99 lang ako ncee..that bitch, buti na lang forgiving ako hehe Anong school mo? In our batch, out 240 only 6 got let less than 99+. Only 1 got less than 99. A 99 would have made you a pariah. Baka naman same high school tayo? Quote Link to comment

angelonherknees
I miss college more- kasi masmarami kang mameemeet na tao sa college kaysa sa highschool. There are only 60 graduating students in my high school batch and half of them grew up together (kasama na ako dun!) Kaya corny, parang mga kapatid mo na lahat. But I digress. Besides, sa college less 'useless' classes to attend to lalo na pag upperclassman ka na. Masconcentrated ang studies and you only get to study the subjects that relate closely to your course. Patay_Sindi
Yan ang problema sa ibang high school, they put too much emphasis is on getting good grades. Pero sa totoo lang, importante ba talaga sa buhay na alam mo ang lahat ng pythagorean triples, o ang terminal velocity ng isang object, or kung kailan dumating ang thomasites dito sa pinas? The emphasis should be placed not so much on the problem itself but on how you solve the problem. Learning problem solving skills lang naman dapat yan eh. Quote Link to comment

binoyski71
i would say that i miss college more than i miss high school... nung college kasi ako mas free to do what i want & no restrictions... di katulad ng nasa high school ako very routinary yung buhay ko... school at bahay lang... di katulad ng college ako na lagi na may kasamang gimik every week... at least napagsawaan ko talaga ng todo yung college life ko. cedric_errol
Hey guys, which do you miss more, your high school life or your college one? I always think that i had more elbow room to do stuff during college but it also had its share of responsibilities. Unlike high school where you could live a care free life (although i didn't have a car then ). Share your thoughts. Peace Absolutely my high school life... the crushes, the friends, the teachers and the playground... hands down! PEACE! Quote Link to comment
