not in the local scene. may mga interesting young boxers pa ang pinas. in short, may mga potentials na maging world champs like manny p.

This! Though having another boxing superstar rising through the ranks like Manny Pacquiao did would certainly help keep it relevant in the mainstream!

para sa akin boxing is not dying, but the popularity of the boxer is dying...Hindi na ganon ka sikat si Pacman ngaun kaya tumamlay boxing pero once na mayron na naman ipanganak na magiging boxing legend buhay na naman ulit yan...

I think it is dying.

Though boxing has the most history among other sports, the recent events that happened in boxing compared to mma shows that it is declining. There are still some fans or supporters of boxing but they get fewer and fewer because of several factors like
1. Champions or great fighters dodging contenders and choosing who they fight. Unlike in the UFC, you fight who is given to you.
2. The taste of the viewers just change. We don't just want to see people fighting using their hands, we want a plethora of fighting styles being used.

These are just my observations. 😊

Rigged judges in boxing are killing the sport. Specially on title fights.

Yup its dying slowly and if we continue to patronize ALA-lay promotions which handpicks weak opponents to fight their stable fighters for their Pinoy pride nth circus we will never see another superstar fighter like Pac man in a long time. Those young fighters will not grow and develop if they are constantly fed weak fodder for their shows tch.

Promoters are getting greedy and corrupt... unlike the previous decades.
