azrach187
What's your video card? Not sure? Check your BIOS. Anyways, for all those hardcore gamers out there able to play Doom III, BF 2, HL2, Quake 4, FEAR, etc. show what drive your graphics. I used to have a Radeon 9800XT, but I had so much friggin problem with that hard ware (heat sinks sucks and the fan was too damn noisy = overheats after 4 hours of gametime = just when I'm getting warmed up) So I bought this one, nVidia GeForce 6600GT that kicks major ass, but I'm thinking of upgrading to nVidia GeForce 6800GT in the near future. Anyways, if you are interested in purchasing it PM me (the price stands at $ 160, minus shipping) and we could make arrangements. I might just hold on to it till I can afford a 6800GT without selling my old one... Here's my EVGA nVidia GeForce 6600GT's specs: Core clock: 500MHzD-SUB: 1DirectX: DirectX 9DVI: 1Memory Clock: 900MHzMemory Interface: 128-bitOpenGL: OpenGL 2.0PixelPipelines: 8TV-Out: HDTV/S-Video OutAGP slot 4x/8x for those interested in buying it. Oh yeah, I'll never buy another Radeon in my natural life... :thumbsdownsmiley: Quote Link to comment

Overheat siguro, lalo na fx 5500 madaling uminit (depende sa manufacturer). Tingnan mo kung gumagana pa yung fan nung 5500 mo, or may maingay kang naririnig (lose fan) pag active ang PC. Best thing, buksan mo para sigurado ka. Warcraft III ba yan? Edited October 31, 2005 by azrach187 Quote Link to comment

At the very least you are honest. That being said, you have noticed that I have a nice above average vid card, but to tell you the truth, it strains on some of the games being mentioned here, which lead me to wonder where everyone in MTC sits as far as vid cards. Keeping people honest is the second point of this thread. Being proud of what you work hard for is the other, speed demon or enduros. mines Ati 9800pro 128mb runs @ default clock..<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Good! Keep it that way, because I found out the hard way that overclocking do some major wear on the vid cards, even thought they perform superbly for a short period of time. I prefer longevity (no overheats) since I do play almost 24 hrs straight! Quote Link to comment

Actually, mahahalata mo na kaagad pag nahihirapan ang card mo sa mga graphic intensive, lalo na yung 'magalaw' na camera during the FMV sequence. Ayos lang dre, Gunbound is a good game, minus the GFX (graphics). Which brings me to my other point, not all graphics and resource intensive games are good. Quote Link to comment
knives_out
I have an Nvidia Geforce 7800GTX on my new PC. my mistake is not buying an SLI capable motherboard para pag di na kaya mga future games salpak nalang ng isa pang 7800GTX na baka mas mura na next year. actually hirap na rin yung 7800GTX sa Doom 3 if naka ultra high setting and high anti aliasing. super low fps na sa X16 Quote Link to comment

So what is your current motherboard? Kasi naman, pag ultra-high lahat, nagsisimulang mag tap nang resource yan sa main processor mo. IMHO, koti lang ang diprensya nang high sa ultra high, not enough to risk glitches and lag during gameplay. But thanks for the info about the 7800s something I would keep in mind once I could actually afford that card. Quote Link to comment

Minsan, sa nba 2005 din. tolerable nman. i play all games kung ano ang default nya. i dont overclock, kasi stability and long term use nman ang habol ko. Balita ko kc kapag nag overclock ka, it has the risk to "shorten" the life span of your video card. plus, takot din akong pakialaman ang pc ko. bka magkaroon pa ng sira bigla. hehe.
