MODERATOR bonito99 Posted July 26, 2003 Author MODERATOR Share Posted July 26, 2003 @ccc3: everyone has their own time, but nobody knows when theirs will end. That's why I prefer automatics. Got my eye on this Oris Miles Davis Collection. Sweet tank. Quote Link to comment

joel
I like that swatch skin, and the pocket watch by cross. but what i'd really lik to have is the watch that has no emblems whatsoever, you only get to know the brand from the underside which makes it really cool for me, I saw one in glorietta before but the price tag is soooo heavy. MODERATOR bonito99 Posted July 29, 2003 Author MODERATOR Share Posted July 29, 2003 I know... watches could really be heavy on one's budget. Quote Link to comment
kadafy
i used to don a seiko 5. but i don't wear one now. my wrists are small. so metallic watches don't look good on 'em. don't want leather straps either. am sort of allergic, speacially when my wrist sweats.. i dream of having a patek phillipe, though... oh well Quote Link to comment
MODERATOR bonito99 Posted July 29, 2003 Author MODERATOR Share Posted July 29, 2003 I'd choose a Seiko5 stainless steel over a "Class A" watch anytime. Kadafy: try mid-size watches with metal bracelets. But big watches are "in" nowadays . Quote Link to comment
MODERATOR bonito99 Posted July 29, 2003 Author MODERATOR Share Posted July 29, 2003 Try the Seiko Superior line. They look cool Quote Link to comment
kadafy
i actually loved the seiko...it just so happened my father liked it too... and one x'mas, i have no...oh well i dunno. ipon muna siguro ako. in the meantime, cell muna ako tingin time... Quote Link to comment

wari_aktiv
Hmmm, a bit too ornate for me, (I think it'll be too showy for a 22 year old wrist pare... delikads ) pero its a gorgeous timepiece; wouldn't mind having one when I get a bit older... Quote Link to comment
MODERATOR bonito99 Posted August 2, 2003 Author MODERATOR Share Posted August 2, 2003 Yup. Don't rush. It's valued at US $18,564 . You're never too young to own a very nice wristwatch. But of course, others might say, "relo ng tatay mo yan!" Quote Link to comment
wari_aktiv
Pare, medyo off topic pero related sa sinabi mo... When I was 19 I inherited a Jaeger le Coultre from my lolo... very nice, circa 1950s-1960s... Tapos I had to have dinner in L'Opera with the family of this girl I was goin out with, so siyempre I wore it, pa-impress... Tang-ina, during the dinner, her dad remarked; "Iho, you have a very nice wristwatch there, now I know you have good taste... but did you ask permission from your father before borrowing it?" :o :o :o Shet... Kaya mas ingat na ako ngayon Quote Link to comment
