There are those that offer attarctiverates but these are normally banks that people will normally shy away from. An example are the Rural banks, a lot of which folded because of insolvency. In short, the saying "The higher the risk, the higher the returns" is very true in the savings/ time deposit sector. Quote Link to comment

T-Bills have tenors up to one year or 360 days, normally they are in 30, 60, 90, 180 or 360 tenors. Government Bonds have tenors of one year or longer. You can get them from banks, investment houses.
