DorkVader
A good team is a team with a good program to sustain its success. So far, San Beda is the only team that has shown its effectiveness. Letran was good this past season. They have to look beyond and be competitive each year. Quote Link to comment

leaderofthebibes
UAAP La salle, talent wise lasalle is the best team for this season considering the addition of Mbala who is unstoppable in the post plus his supporting cast will definitely make La Salle a champion in the making.NCAA San Beda, C'mon they were suppose to be champions last season, there was definitely a cooking in the finals in NCAA last year. JonnyBones33
As a fan of collegiate basketball in the country these are my rankings (Title count is from season 90-91)Â 1.A FEU - Competitive almost every year with 7 titles from 90's - present (20 total most by any college team in PH). This team arguably produces the most all-star caliber and quality role players in the PBA.1.B La Salle - Just like FEU very competitive almost every year with 7 UAAP titles from 90's - present. They have also produced a lot of quality PBA players.2. Ateneo - Great collegiate program with 6 UAAP titles starting from the 90's. Has produced a lot of PBA players but dropped to 2nd on my list because most of their overhyped star players are just role players in the PBA.3.B San Sebastian - 7 NCAA titles and players like Adducul and Abueva3.A Letran - 6 NCAA titles and some quality players in the PBA right now.3.C UST - 5 UAAP titles (4 peat in the 90's) and a few more finals appearances. Produced some quality PBA players.4. San Beda - A very dominant team in the NCAA for the past 10 yrs by winning 8/10 titles but hasn't produced a lot of quality players in the pros. Some of their stars didn't last long in the PBA (maybe due to the fact that their best players during their previous championship run is their foreign athletes)5. UE - Has not won a single UAAP title starting from the 90's but still made my list for being a competitive team in the UAAP and by producing a lot of quality PBA players. Quote Link to comment

The Cunning Linguist
Based sa lineup ng mga teams this season, no doubt in my mind na La Salle pinakamalakas na team ngayon...yung second unit nila pwede na starter sa ibang teams e Quote Link to comment

Rabbit305
NCAA will be Arellano. San Beda's Tankuoa has knee injury. Hope 100% na siya sa championship. Quote Link to comment
The Cunning Linguist
Tankoua had an ACL injury. He won't recover enough in 2 months to return to play in the Finals. He's out for the season. Arellano definitely will be the team to beat sa NCAA. Sa UAAP wala pa ring nakakatalo sa La Salle, grabe kasi lineup. Quote Link to comment

Duel of Fate
Been a Blue Eagle fan for over 10years. Panahon pa ni Chia at Villanueva. Sadly, they should be thankful if they make it sa final four this year. Im partially blaming it on Kiefer Ravena. Im a fan of the phenom, but his Kobe-like superstardom caused the team to neglect scouting and continuous building. Di gaya ng Beda, even when Baser Amer led them they never stopped looking for strong cadets. The Archers can win it this year. They have a lineup that can even surpass Mighty Pilipinas. stickshift
Check out the current Lyceum pirates of the NCAA. They are 16-0 right now and the #1 and #2 in the MVP race, #1 in rookie of the year are in the team. Team will still be intact next year as the 2 graduating players are role players. The core will still be the same next season. They are scary good! Quote Link to comment
