digitalsober Posted June 6, 2007 Share Posted June 6, 2007 yung shoes ni kidd, classic! maganda talaga design.. simple lang. too bad i wasnt able to buy those back then.. alam ko 1st yr. or 2nd yr. highschool ako nun ng ma-release yan. pinakamagandang shoes ni kidd for me yung parang may oakley na lens sa gilid. hehe. mag-retro ba ng jordan11? kelan ang release? yung mga retro na jordan ba ok ipang-laro? like yung jordan 5.. 3... etc. Quote Link to comment

taken Posted June 8, 2007 Share Posted June 8, 2007 ^^^ i think its because of the technology of the retroes. technology of shoes around the '80s and '90s are inferior to today's shoes. i myself dont use retroes for playing ball. regular air sole is very stiff compared to zoom air, max air, etc. di po ba ang question was whether or not the jordan retro issue basketball shoes is ok to ball in? imho... i dont really think that the technology of the jordan line (retro issues) is really that inferior to today's basketball shoes... the jordan 11 i think was the first shoe to ever have the carbon fiber spring plate and zoom air... although yung initial reaction nuon ng mga tao eh panget daw because of the patent leather... pero as years went by it became one of the sought after grails of sneaker heads not because of it's looks alone but because of the tecnology that goes with it... yung jordan 14 din na retro... the technology used for that shoe... carbon fiber spring late and its vents... made it one of the lightest and most breathable basketball shoes ever made... personally i think picking what shoe to wear and what tecnology you're most comfortable playing ball in is sort of a personal preference... like my preference with regard to the shoes with the nike shox technology... i really don't like playing basketball with shoes that has that tech because i find it stiffer than regular air sole units... i also tend to have the annoyung pretensions na matatapilok ako because of the elevated rear... pero that's with regard to my preference... people for sure have their own opinions... kaya to the guy who initially asked the question... bro... based on court time i had with the jordan retro issues... ok naman silang ipanlaro although every other jordan series has their own technology and personality... you just have to pick out what you think is comfortable para sa yo... try reading reviews on the net to find out more about the technology and sizing issues... :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment
