Leyna
the hobbit sana tlga gumawa sila ng movie ng the hobbit T_T it is "in production" already, being directed by my favorite, all-hail - Guillermo del Toro How I wish to see the movie version of Anne Rice's Memnoch the Devil. I can imagine the stir it would cause. I've read that one too ................................. would love to see: The Road by Cormac McCarthyLovely Bones by Alice Sebold and hoping they'll make a movie adaptation of my fave trilogy: Tales of the Otori by Lian Hearn Quote Link to comment
Lord Superb
I'm tired of the hyped-up Bourne movies even though the action scenes are commendable. A more subtle storyline, not to mention old-school espionage tactics, would be more than welcome, and for that I'd like to see the movie adaptation of John Le Carre's The Little Drummer Girl. Lord Superb
I heard the movie adaptation of Peter Straub and Stephen King's The Talisman is in the works. Or is it a 7-part TV series? Hmm, I hope it pushes through and will do justice to the book. Quote Link to comment

johnnydrama
Desperate for:Altered Carbon by Richard K. Morgan Last time I heard, WB bought the rights and will release it 2009. I'm crossing my fingers for this because the book seriously rocked. This movie will probably rival Blade Runner IF it's done right. I hope for the best. :upside: WB patay ka kapag ginawa mo sa Altered Carbon yung ginawa ng Fox sa Babyon A.D. Looks interesting... Btw, any news on the TV mini-series version of Neal Stephenson's The Diamond Age??? I just hope the ff. SF books can also be turned into decent movies:Alfred Bester's The Stars My Destination and The Demolished Man (not to be confused with that Sylvester Stallone-starring dog-poo pile called Demolition Man) Quote Link to comment

wizardman
If I were a Hollywood producer, I would make a Neuromancer movie even if most people find it unoriginal because of the Matrix. Quote Link to comment

ForeverSummer
The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. I read the book, enjoyed its simplicity, and felt its innocence. Since I am such an eager beaver, I got myself a pirated copy of the movie. But it's just sitting here, waiting patiently to be watched. Quote Link to comment
