Percy Jackson and the Olympians.. I just read the book.. I had so much fun. Full of adventure in every chapter!! I wonder if I'll end up disappointed once I see the movie.. lolz..

I'm tired of the hyped-up Bourne movies even though the action scenes are commendable. A more subtle storyline, not to mention old-school espionage tactics, would be more than welcome, and for that I'd like to see the movie adaptation of John Le Carre's The Little Drummer Girl.

I heard the movie adaptation of Peter Straub and Stephen King's The Talisman is in the works. Or is it a 7-part TV series? Hmm, I hope it pushes through and will do justice to the book.

Seriously? I just started reading "The Lightning Thief". I've read good reviews about the book though. Can't wait!

 

Wish they could do "The Alchemyst" by Michael Scott, too. Very, very cinematic!

Last time I heard, WB bought the rights and will release it 2009.

 

I'm crossing my fingers for this because the book seriously rocked.

 

This movie will probably rival Blade Runner IF it's done right.

The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. I read the book, enjoyed its simplicity, and felt its innocence. Since I am such an eager beaver, I got myself a pirated copy of the movie. But it's just sitting here, waiting patiently to be watched.
