tanong ko lang: meron bang download manager na ma-iinstall sa firefox na tulad nung sa IE ng windows vista? si utol kasi IE for vista gamit. Pagnagdodownload siya dati speed niya umaabot lang ng mga 20-30Kbps lang. then last night nag-install siya ng download manager from microsoft , pampabilis daw ng download speed..yung 2-30Kpbps niya biglang naging 100Kbps! style ata parang torrent ang pagdownload ng mga files..meron bang ganitong download manager ang firefox?

 

downloads are generally faster in vista, kahit browsing. mas maganda ang networking implementation ng vista pati bagong technology pag dating sa plumbing. expect firefox to improve in speed sa loading and downloading as well. but of course may partida sa IE. im sure theyll come out with an accelerator for firefox thatll take advantage of vistas new networking code.

vista sucks. our company downgraded most of our new laptops to XP due to problems and incompatibilities (apps and... GAMES!...). vista will be replaced sooner than expected by windows 7. but i think the new network usage generally makes downloading through vista a little faster. though still it's not worth it to make a hasty transition to vista. Firefox is better than IE if you want more secure browsing and downloads.
