The most common form of HDD damage is caused by the read/write head failing. If this happens, it doesn't matter how many partitions you have, they'll all be inaccessible because the read/write head isn't working.

 

read/write head failures can be caused by many things; normal wear and tear, heat, vibrations, high impact shock. To prolong life, best to keep the HDDs cool by installing a fan in front of them (the more expensive cases have these). As we all know, metal expands with heat. As the HDD gets hotter, the read/write head's metal mechanisms expand just a little, sometimes enough to cause a failure and crash.

screw it!

 

i mean, really, screwing the hdd properly (using all 4 screws) to the chassis helps a lot in keeping it cool. :cool:

 

even the most jurassic of casings are designed in such a way that the chassis itself acts as the hdd's heatsink. a lot of techs overlook this simple step for one reason or another. but they should all just screw it! :evil:

Nag rip ako ng DVD using a dvd ripper.

Ni rip ko sya as DOV and .dat for vcd.

Maganda ang quality ng movie pero walang audio.

Palaging ganon ang problema, ano ba ang kelangang gawin sito?

May mali ba akong process or kulang ako sa process ng pag ririp?

Mga dude pls help me naman Im trying to print out a DVD cover like ung kasama pag bumili ka ng pirated DVD, the one with front,back and the middle spine label

 

I have some empty blank dvd cases ung black

But everytime I make one using nero coverdesigner, I can make a good VCD cover no problem pati size

But, when I make using DVD profile, either maliit or malake

Can anyone pls guide me? Specific size etc.

Or should I use some other software?

hi guys... i need some legal advice

 

here's the story

 

meron akong friend na nag suggest na i-take over ang isang small scale restaurant. i put up 100K. the plan did not push through. i asked him to return the money. but he did not.

 

at first he mentions that he used the money in something else and that he was conned, but since then he didn't communicate with me anymore.

 

to what extent of legal means i can make him pay up or be held in some ways liable for his action.

 

i hope you can help me as i needed the money :cry:

So far wala pa namang nasisirang CD/DVD ko na nilagayan ko ng sticker na bilog. I remembered a few years back when I did not use a round sticker, natanggal yung nilagay kong sticker sa loob mismo ng cd-rom ko when I used the CD. Desperate, I cranked open the CD drive and removed the pieces of the sticker label inside the reader.

 

Ang alam kong kalaban ng mga optical media is yung scratches at oxidation o anything na mawawala yung pagka reflective ng media surface.

civil case of collection of sum of money

 

criminal case of estafa. --- he cannot use the money for something else.

Some .dat VCD movies ay hindi pwedeng i burn. Was it encrypted?

Bakit ganun I tried putting the bilog na sticker sa VCD na binurn ko ;

tas nagkarun ng artifacts ung mga blured images tas ung sound naging choppy at nagskiskip

I guess nakaka affect din

Lalagayan ko nalang ng sticker na label;

Hinde na ung bilog na sticker sa buong cd baka hinde kasi mabasa ng maayos

 

Wanted to get a lightscribe writer sana pero mas maganda ung direct CD printer ;

Para sakin kasi sa lightscribe correct me if im wrong pero pde ba ang colored label direct sa CD/DVD?

Sino d2 may Direct 2 CD/DVD printer? I Plan to get one soon

At least no more problems on labelling CD's/DVD's.

that is totally not true!

walang kinalaman ang sticker sa pag-burn mo ng VCD

as a rule, always burn at half or less than half what your

Writer can burn...it is much better to burn at 8-10x than higher
