Hello ask lang kung pwede habulin legally ang contractor na palpak ang ginawang trabaho. Salamat po.

Well based on your construction contract you can file a civil case against him for breach of said contract. However, civil cases take a long time and is quite expensive. Also, if there is evidence of fraud or violation of other special law like failure to secure PCAB licenses you can also look at that option. Nonetheless, all of these options would require you to secure the services of a lawyer which may be quite expensensive.

Depend upon the purpose or reason of the request. if its in relation to legal action, then yes. Other than that No since it would be a violation of the Data Privacy Act

can i ask if defendant can file for petition for relief of judgment rule 38 sa Accion Reivindicatoria kapag meron issue sa docs that was filed as formal exhibit by the plaintiffs way back from the start of the hearing? if they claim meritorious reason for fame

the defendants are not part of the doc as they are illegal settlers.

Can an atty testify about a case he handled before or share info about the previous case for a case that involves his or her clients?

As a rule no. Because of lawyer-client privilege. Unless the client wants to commit a future crime and the lawyer's assistance is sought to further said crime.

No future crime naman po. Pero the atty that may testify handled a land dispute case. The new case naman may involve the prev client of the atty or the atty knows private personal info of the client.  Baka hanapin lang sya ng party to testify. Pued po ba?

No. Unfortunately, this still involves attorney-client privilege. It might also result in a conflict of interest. Even though the lawyer is no longer retained as counsel by his former client, he cannot divulge information he obtained while he was a lawyer for said client. This would be unethical and would defeat the purpose of the privilege mentioned. Ultimately, people will no longer trust lawyers with confidential information. Also it would be a violation of Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability.
