The Thank You Thread

Thank you for a wonderful dinner, the laughter we had shall echo until the rest of days. It was a nice round of defense, infamous lines mentioned indiscriminately and was counted. Thank you for trying to fix me up with someone but unfortunately she doesn't strike my fancy so sister i guess we're both thankful for being single, 3's a crowd already hehehe...

Thank you for the rough day at the office, atleast i'm doing something right instead of just spending and wasting my time like before. I don't know why i put up with her irony in life and confusing discourse toward reality. Thank you Lord that part's over, it was total hell.

Salamat kasi natutunan ko sa mga nakalipas na araw na may mga taong magaling magkubli. Maaring nababalot sila ng kabaitan, kagandaan at katalinuhan subalit kung ang mga puso nila ay hitik ng pagiimbot, wala ng mas sasama pa sa kanila.

 

Salamat kasi ipinaintindi mo sa akin ano ang ibig sabihin ng salitang kaibigan. Salamat din at ipinakilala mo sa akin ang isang tao na talagang tahasang masasabi ko na isang tunay syang kaibigan.

 

Salamat kasi muli mong pinaalala sa akin na kung ano man ang binitawan kong salita, dapat kong panindigan - parati kong isasabuhay iyan. Pero may idinagdag kang bagong paalala - na hindi ako dapat magsalita ng aking nasasaloob at nasasaisip sa kung sino sino lamang, dahil malamang sa malamang, ang mga kung sino sinong ito, gagamitin ang mga salita ko laban sa akin.

 

Salamat kasi nakita ko kung ano ang katotohanan.... at ano ang kasinungalingan. At kung sino sila. Iyan ang pinakamahalaga sa lahat ng mga munting paalala na ipinadala mo sa akin sa mga nakalipas na araw na ito.

and to stop denying my fears and emotions

Thank you ... for the food we have on the table, in the fridge.

 

Thank you ... for my family, friends and peers.

I'm learning that there is something worse than having a loved one gradually & painfully dying from an incurable malady in one's daily presence: having two of them.

 

Yet I'm thankful for the grace of that presence, that I am here for them.
