jake_speed
Finished reading... The Dragons of EdenPulitzer Prize winning book by Carl Sagan Published long ago, but you'll like it, esp. if you're into non-fiction Edited July 31, 2004 by jake_speed Quote Link to comment
wari_aktiv
Went on a bookrun last weekend... Finished off "The Eyre Affair" and "Lost In A Good Book", both by Jasper Fforde, both in one sitting... Extremely entertaining and wonderfully complicated. Its fantastically whimsical fiction for thinking adults who happen to turn into bookworms in their spare time... Like me. Moving on to the next book in the Thursday Next series... "The Well of Lost Plots". I bet my balls I'd like this one too. Quote Link to comment

Fahfrd
I just finished Heroic Vision 2 edited by Jessica Amanda Salmonson. It took me a while to finish it because some of the stories were a bit weird. I'm now starting on Infinite Dreams. This is a collection of short stories written by Joe Haldeman, who is one of my fave authors in the sci-fi genre. He is also the author of one of the best sci-fi novels I have ever read, Forever War. It promises to be a very good read. I read the first short story this morning and it was so good that it made me late for work. Edited August 6, 2004 by Fahfrd Quote Link to comment

Barenaked-NoMre
Was pretty much underground ... hadnt read anything for the past couple of months. Just got back to appreciating the written word ... it's nice to know you can borrow from friends than spend P300+ for a good book. ;-) Currently reading ... "Heartstone" by Phillip Margolin. Interesting ... ala-CSI with The Practice mixed into it. Any other suggestions for good reads? Quote Link to comment
