Yes, my employer has offices around the world. If they offer me work abroad, I will grab it. After I have enough money to buy a house and lot and to start a business, I will return to the Philippines. I have savings but it's only good for a couple of years without working.

I am a person who have lived half of his life in a foreign country. So I can say that I've been there and done that. And I am back in the Philippines probably for good. And all I can say is that there is no place like home---The Philippines even with all it's warts and shortcomings.

Ang sabi nga nila, the white guy will work for a buck for his job, for that same job, the Pinoy will work for half a buck, the Chicano will work for a quarter, the Chinese will work for a dime, ohhhh the Vietnamese will take it for a nickel gladly and the Black guy will not take the job but will take all the money. Note: This is just a joke and does not represent my own views about racism and racial bigotry. Sorry if anyone is offended.

 

But to have a counter to the opinion above, sometimes it is also very rewarding to compete with the best of them because you can say that you have proven to yourself that you can survive anywhere. To paraphrase a song---"....if I can make it THERE, I can make it ANYWHERE......"
