kingsville
He could get some, or almost all the remaining snaps of their "pre-season".. Gotta save Anderson for Week 1, at the very least.. As for Quinn's future snaps in a regular-season game, it could possibly come from the other team. Or is it D.A. who's supposed to be shifted? Quote Link to comment
gift_of_game
^maybe the Bears could help them out there...?the only kicker here is that Chicago's has to spend money either way with Tebow through the draft or in a trade to get either Quinn or Anderson. Quote Link to comment
kingsville
So, which is the better idea? This one: ^the only kicker here is that Chicago's has to spend money either way with Tebow through the draft or in a trade to get either Quinn or Anderson. or trying to acquire McNabb from the Eagles thru a trade? I actually like the first one a bit more.. In other (pre-season) news: - QB Matt Ryan to start the Falcons' next game against Tennessee..- QB Tom Brady unsure to play in Preseason Week 3.- WR Anquan Boldin uninterested with the Cardinals. Your typical player-to-team sour relationship here, I guess..- 49ers sign LB Takeo Spikes and would start at outside linebacker.- Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown is day-to-day, and moved RB Ricky Williams (yup, that guy!) atop their RB chart for awhile. gift_of_game
^again, either way, they spend money. of course, the smart money could go to the younger signal caller with upside. Quote Link to comment
denimhead
im liking that sullivan kid ... saw a couple of his pre season plays ... i kinda like his poise Quote Link to comment
cheeselogger
Martz will do wonders for the Niners' offense, if the players would do their part. I read an article before SF had a wandering QB ala Kurt Warner and if he makes good with the opportunity to work with Mike, SF might grab some "suprising" wins... Quote Link to comment

kingsville
sa NY Jets na-trade si Favre.. GB gets a conditional draft pick depending on Favre's performance. Yup, O'Sullivan was in Detroit when Mike Martz was still their offensive coordinator there, so he knows a lot of the Mad Scientist's offensive playbook. No wonder he's leading the job. From there, we're getting to the point where we reminisce what happened in 2005 Draft. Did Frisco get it right w/ Alex Smith, or could they have traded down to get Aaron Rodgers and an additional pick, or waited the following year to pick Matt Leinart? The reason they went with Smith is because he's the most mobile QB in that batch, which fits their West Coast offense. Just like Montana, Steve Young and... Jeff Garcia did!
