Year in, year out, they're contenders True....they don't have the top picks for this draft.... ....after all, not all top 1st round draft picks went on to have illustrious careers for their teams. Yeah, Manziel can be put in the same category as JaMarcus Russell. Sad to see him fail in life too JaMarcus Russell....the previous QB for the Oakland Raiders? There are a lot of draft busts in the NFL....like you mentioned JaMarcus Russell and Ryan Leaf (same draft class with Peyton Manning)....among the other higher drafted players. Can you consider RG3 to be in the same category as well? Quote Link to comment
CirocBoy
I haven't totally lost faith on RG3 yet. The problem with RG3 is his mechanics, something that could be fixed. He just needs to be comfortable inside the pocket and improve his decision making. He did had success during his rookie season unlike Manziel and Russell who both had issues with their work ethics. Unfortunately, teams got a hold of tapes and videos of his tendencies and RG3 wasn't able to adjust to that. Also, it's a difficult task to play as a rookie and be labeled as the savior of the franchise by the media. He's a beast in Madden though haha JaMarcus Russell....the previous QB for the Oakland Raiders? But QBs are given such few opportunities....he should make the most out of that. Quote Link to comment
