gift_of_game
Ang kawawang Cowboys . . . teng teng. It's still a healthy 8 minutes into 3rd quarter and yet 41-3 score in favor of the Green Eagles. did anyone check on Jerry Jones? LOL! XMAS in PHILLY, killing the Cowboys' playoff aspirations with one fell swoop... Quote Link to comment

gift_of_game
^the loss to the Birds was one thing but the way they got manhandled/abused/whacked around like someone's b****, it didn't really seem like they had any plans beyond December. Quote Link to comment
denimhead
news report..... wade phillips left in philly by the cowboys charter flight........ Quote Link to comment
gift_of_game
what the?hey hey, even for Jerry Jones, that's cold man. hahaha! as expected, the Cowboy meltdown eclipsed the history-making performance of the Detroit Secondhand Lions.those dudes set the bar for ineptitude and futility to a whole new level. gift_of_game
just saw clips of Romo's postgame comments and I hate to say this Cowboys fans but it doesn't seem like this should be your guy going forward, that is, if you guys really want to move forward. forget, for a moment, all the picks he threw or booboos he made in the years past. Romo may have a bit of talent about him, he may even be good and not just a product of a good team with good pieces playing a good system. that said, he just doesn't have the type of QB attitude that's necessary to get it done. postgame, he weasled out a smile and a pat-your-back bro, "it's gonna be OK" line.while it's nice to have a cool guy calling the shots, Romo's too cool that at times it smacks of plain, unadulterated indifference. almost as if he couldn't really care less whether the Cowboys lost the game by 30 or 3 points. dencio
^^ Aaarrgggghhh! Not a good way to end the season. Hope they resolve all the team's issues especially since they're ushering in a new hi-tech stadium next year. Puro pamba-babae kasi inaatupag nitong Romo na 'to eh! Hmmm, is Matt Cassel available? Quote Link to comment
gift_of_game
not too sure the Pats would be inclined to let him walk especially with Brady's future up in the air.ESPN just mentioned that Brady's return for 2009 is far from a lock with the setbacks in his knee surgery. Quote Link to comment
denimhead
romo is a good fantasy qb .... he'll put up the numbers but not the clucth win .... cowgays have been 0-8 in their last games of the seasn ..... this is prolly the worst if jerry jones keeps wade ... itll just show me the old man is getting soft Quote Link to comment
gift_of_game
HUWAAAAT??!?! the resident Eagles fan had Romo on one of his fantasy teams?it's a sacrilege! burn the infidel! LOL! or Jones doesn't want to play the fool and eat his own words. btw, why is everyone going after Cowher? Quote Link to comment
denimhead
its fantasy ... its about the stats ... but romo let me down ... his december collapse os legendary cowher is one of the available coaches who has proven he can build a program from the ground up and have success.. plus hes still young enough to go the long haul Quote Link to comment
kingsville
Denim, you made a good jump on the niners bandwagon! :thumbsupsmiley:Frisco might reap the benefits next season, I think. The bad thing in the current playoff system.. Division winner with an 8-8 record going there..and an 11-5 record finishing second in its division, did not.. Oh well... This one may not be so nice: 2010 PRO BOWL to be held a week before the Super Bowl. Edited December 30, 2008 by kingsville Quote Link to comment
