Unwritten
Just like pearls and other precious gems that needed time to become valuable, so should be the commitment of time and effort in getting to know a person and find that indeed you have uncovered a treasure. 1 Quote Link to comment

Lord Superb
You can save up on two things and will find them useful when you least expect it: money and good karma, the former tangible, the latter intangible, a different kind of wealth. 1 Quote Link to comment
Lord Superb
As a follow-up to what I just posted, I have learned to know the thin line separating what I want versus what I need. I could, for example, buy a pair of shoes I want, but more often than not, I really don't have a pressing need to acquire it, so I save money instead. Similarly, if my need overcomes my want but the product turns out to be lacking in quality, then I realize I don't want it, after all. This dichotomy governs my spending and saving decisions.
