Tom Hiddleston
Funny how people will buy cars just because of the resale value. If you are truly a car guy, you’d buy a car because you want to enjoy driving it. I really can’t see myself buying a car just because it is the choice taxi unit then spend the next 5 years bored to death driving it, then sell it just to buy the next facelifted version. If you are truly a car guy, buy a car that thrills you, makes you excited to drive. Hondas by far, are the better choice. Quote Link to comment
Diluc30
Honda...best ksi sya dahil hindi ginagawang taxi...and most of all ang resale value niya di maxadong bumababa compare kay Toyota... Quote Link to comment
merovyngian
Let's update the original question of the thread: 1. Toyota 86 or Honda Civic RS Turbo? 2. Toyota 86 or Honda Civic Type R? Quote Link to comment
Copacetic_Guy
Let's update the original question of the thread: 1. Toyota 86 or Honda Civic RS Turbo? 2. Toyota 86 or Honda Civic Type R?Totally different class, it's like comparing apples to oranges. If you want to compare a honda with a toyota 86, it should be the S2000. it's an older car but it can still go head to head with the 86. I don't think toyota has any car in it's line-up that comes close to a type R in specs and in performance. Quote Link to comment

So for you it's Type R over 86. Also RS Turbo over 86? The game is simple, friend. Apple or Orange. Some people might prefer to have a Banana, but that's not what's currently on the table. johnlove
Short term ownership - HondaLong term ownership - Toyota Reason: Only Honda casa can legally sell Honda parts, if Honda decided to stop selling parts for your car, you are finished.Toyota don't have a monopoly on parts. eddie_akoi2
Honda, hands down. Cheap parts nga ang toyota, mas madalas ka namang magpaayos ng sasakyan... i also echo the sentiment regarding buying a car youd enjoy driving as well as be happy being seen driving. Quote Link to comment
