Funny how people will buy cars just because of the resale value. If you are truly a car guy, you’d buy a car because you want to enjoy driving it. I really can’t see myself buying a car just because it is the choice taxi unit then spend the next 5 years bored to death driving it, then sell it just to buy the next facelifted version. If you are truly a car guy, buy a car that thrills you, makes you excited to drive. Hondas by far, are the better choice.

Totally different class, it's like comparing apples to oranges. If you want to compare a honda with a toyota 86, it should be the S2000. it's an older car but it can still go head to head with the 86.

 

I don't think toyota has any car in it's line-up that comes close to a type R in specs and in performance.

The game is simple, friend. Apple or Orange. Some people might prefer to have a Banana, but that's not what's currently on the table.

Reason:

Only Honda casa can legally sell Honda parts, if Honda decided to stop selling parts for your car, you are finished.

Toyota don't have a monopoly on parts.

Honda, hands down. Cheap parts nga ang toyota, mas madalas ka namang magpaayos ng sasakyan... i also echo the sentiment regarding buying a car youd enjoy driving as well as be happy being seen driving.
