JohnMayall
Beer is fine after a round of golf when you are thirsty and dehydrated anyway. The satisfying surge as you glug down a pint of chilled lager is just the thing. Anyone who sips beer just doesn't get it. You should slug down your beer like you hate it. Unfortunately beer swilling is a young man's game. Unless you have the spring and elasticity of youth in your bladder you spend your whole evening in the CR. For the older chap a civilised spirit is more in order. You could sip your brandy or in my case savour a single malt, Scotch of course. Quote Link to comment
