I believe you are in love with the idea of "being in love". Seeing as how you two used to be childhood sweethearts and you had no formal closure on your relationship, you are hesitant because of the circumstances.

IMO, if ever you feel the slightest reservations about going into a relationship at this point then I would suggest you postpone it for the time being.

My best advice would be: Start out as friends then take it from there. Who knows, you might have more in common than you think. Hope this helps.

Have you ever tried to open up your mind and letting go of this monotonous thing called monogamy. Us guys just do it for a thrill, thats all. I PERSONALLY know couples who go to KTVS and have another girl join them. Its having an emotional bond with another female is what i think hurts. But men 90% of the time think with their dicks. After they "get off" they go back to their wives and children. Instead of being deceitful, maybe you could be more open. In the Philippines men & women are taught to be strictly monogamous by elders and oldee family members but in fact mammals & HUMANS EVOLVED as polygamous species.
