Hi Everyone,

Decided to create this room to share my skills and expertise (free/pro-bono) in statistics/data analytics and business process improvement (i.e. Lean Six Sigma).

A brief background on my self, I'm a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Statistician and also, seasoned in business consultation.

To the ladies/gents in the business/corporate world who would want to me to analyze data and provide insights, please send me a PM and an excel file of the data. Or if you would like a consultation on how to improve your business (efficiency/speed/cost) please send me a PM also.

On the side note, I will be sharing some random thoughts and stuff in here like books I read, some adventures and applications in statistics/data analytics in real life/world problems.

You can also share your questions, thoughts or any curiosity that you have, random or not. I will try my best to answer it, I also encourage healthy discussion and learning.

what BI tool are you using?

Mainly Tableau and Microsoft Power BI

For statistical software I use SPSS and Minitab.

Nice Thread, I'm also working as a process improvement analyst for a BPO campaign :) looking forward in stealing your hidden knowledge chief

I'm actually currently working in a BPO as a Senior Project Manager for process improvement. Let me know if you have any project that you are doing ( i.e. AHT, CSAT, Sales and etc.) I'll definitely share my knowledge to help :)

Hi Harvey,

Interesting thread. Quick q: How does one become certified in Six Sigma? I don't have a management background btw.

Hi Macdknife,

Certification varies among belts. for Yellow Belt, you just need to attend a classroom training ( 1 day) then pass a exam then you get certified.

For Green belt training is around 7 days and you need to pass an exam again plus you need to finish an actual Lean Six Sigma project using the DMAIC methodology then you get certified

For Black Belt training is 15-20 days and you need to pass an exam again, plus finish another actual Lean Six Sigma project with the use of DMAIC methodology plus the use of Advance Statistical tools (Hypothesis testing, Regression and etc.) then you get certified.

Please let me know if you have more questions.

1.) Put it on the web on your own expense or get an investor to finance it for you

(Of course you will make him/her partner).

2.) Allow FREE First Time User Registration (Place 3 User Categories a.Buyer ,

b.Seller, c.Seller&Buyer)

Note:

*You must place a Percentage Indicator on each user whether he/she is a TRUST

WORTHY BUYER/SELLER

(Of course the percentage indicator will be determined by VOTES made by their

clients/supplier on your app)

(Buyer gets to say something about a Seller and vice-versa)

*Membership expires ONE (1) Year after first registration. But renewable only at

the user's option.

*Upon renewal you can charge a very minimal fee dependent on USER Category.

On the ANNIVERSARY DATE of the APPLICATION being deployed online;

1.) Start charging a very small and reasonable commission for yourself on every sale

made via your app.

Additional source of income:

* Get ADS for your app and of course charge them for it (This you can start immediately)

I suggest a Shopify solution that can be integrated directly connected to Facebook - which is where everyone is anyway. That would be definitely be the most effective. You would essentially just need someone to administer and manage the inventory as well as the messages and related posted content for it.

Let me know if i may help.

Thanks !
