airman290
Anyone still doing this? I just got hold of Baofeng Radios. Price is good for starters but I have no idea whatsoever. We just use it for convoys. Quote Link to comment

aidz
Question: I see ads for baofeng UHF radios, my understanding is that since the frequency used is FRS does that mean that it does not need an NTC sticker? Also, do i need class-B certification to use this? The reason i'm asking is the motorola talkabout units use FRS as well and i see those being sold without NTC stickers. Quote Link to comment
J.A.S.O.N
NTC is very strict nowadays Quote Link to comment
murmur
CQ DX! Dead na ba itong forum na ito? Quote Link to comment
vrij
I guess what is needed is to help readers on giving tips on: how to setup ham radios, equipment you need, regulations that need to be complied, protocol in communications. share links or sites that we can read or study on. Ham radio will still be very useful in the even a sudden emergency in an area has a communication breakdown. Quote Link to comment
