Because the company offers it's products direct to consumer to lessen the cost of the product and guarantee that you are getting new and original products.

Not really as most people would think, but you have to remember you're buying it by bottles not per piece. If you compute it per piece you'll realize it's cheaper than the common over the counter brands.

For example I take beta glucans for immune and stress support. The over the counter and go to brand is ImmunoMax which cost around P40-P60 per tablet for their 30mg beta-glucans. While for Usana their beta-glucans, Proglucamune is around P35 per tablet for a 300mg beta glucans and zinc. So cheaper and 10x more potent in terms of content.
