Best Katsu in Metro Manila

First there was YABU. Then a flood of other Japanese franchises (Santouka, Ginza Bairin, etc.) all claiming to have the best katsu.

 

Which one is the best for you?

Haven't tasted that much Katsu.

So far, Teriyaki Boy's Katsu is on top of my list.

Malasa and maganda naman pagkaka luto.

YABU is the best one I've tried.

I go for KATSU CAFE as a cheaper option.

MR. TERAZAWA is also good, but I still prefer YABU.

Haven't tried Ginza, but I rate Yabu above Saboten, despite Yabu being... er... not Japanese authentic.

I have almost tried all the "best" Katsu in town restaurants but I find YABU is still the best in most aspects of Food, Price, Serving Portions, Service, Authenticity, Decor, but could get crowded at times.

Yabu 's katsu set meals are delicious but too expensive, id rather eat a reasonably priced katsu meal at an authentic Japanese restaurant like Kikufuji.

Yabu katsu is pretty good, but of course Little Tokyo is better if you really like authentic and somewhat pretty close to the real Japanese dish
