sickness
The Abandoned: An American film producer named Marie returns to her homeland, Russia, where her mother's dead body has been found under bizarre circumstances. She never knew her, having been adopted and brought to America as a baby. The only clue as to what might have happened is an isolated, abandoned farm in the mountains that supposedly belong to her natural parents. Being the only next of kin, she inherits the place, but no one will take her there as the local superstitions state that the area is...DAMNED. Quote Link to comment
sickness
Mummy 3: Curse of the DragonUniversal’s third MUMMY venture, currently prepping for a July 11, 2008 release, is undergoing big changes as it relocates its pulpy exploits from the arid climates of Egypt to China. Not only will the locale be significantly different for this franchise entry, to be directed by Rob (FAST AND THE FURIOUS) Cohen that Jet Li is the new bandaged baddie. The Asian martial arts star won’t be playing Imhotep; instead, Li is the leading mummy member of the former Teracotta army. Cohen also stated that fellow HK action veteran Michelle Yeoh is on board; however, her managers have confirmed she has not officially signed to the project. As has been previously reported, the third film will center predominantly on Alex O’Connell, Rick and Evy’s son from the second chapter, who is now in his 20s and every bit the adventurer his father (played by returning actor Brendan Fraser) is. Indiana Jones 4:Word on the broadband street is that Steven Spielberg has cast Shia LaBeouf, although in what role is unclear. Speculation is that the actor will possibly be playing Indy Jr. Jihadists in Paradise:Jerry Bruckheimer is bringing that fondness for volatility to a more personal and realistic level with a project called JIHADISTS IN PARADISE, based on a magazine article by Mark Bowden. The Bruck and Bowden have already collaborated on non-fiction detonation with BLACK HAWK DOWN. Bowden is writing the JIHADISTS screenplay for the movie, which involves the Phillipines Islamic terrorist faction Abu Sayyaf and leader Aldam Tilao, who took twenty hostages from a diving resort and dragged several through the jungle for over a year. Tilao was ultimately found and killed by the CIA and Filipino military. SAW 4:Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures announced today that Darren Lynn Bousman will return to direct the next installment of the Saw franchise, which features a killer by the name of Jigsaw who tortures his victims to help them appreciate the life they took for granted. Bousman previously directed Saw II and Saw III for Lionsgate About the movie, Bousman said, "It's not often that a filmmaker is given the opportunity to follow a genuinely compelling character through two films, much less three. So I'm very excited about picking up the reins on Saw IV, and delving even deeper into the Jigsaw legend." Quote Link to comment

Nekromantik
First Look at the Shocking "Hostel II" Poster! Coming straight from the New York Comic Con, this is your first ever look at the brand new poster form Lionsgate's Hostel: Part II! If you're a big fan of Bijou Phillips (or side-boobs) then you're going to really love the one sheet. I'd say it's safe to assume this will not be approved by the MPAA. Read on and enjoy! This time, the story follows three women who, while studying abroad for the summer, learn the grim truth behind the Slovakian hostel and its international counterparts. German would play a wealthy girl trying to figure out her next step in life, Phillips would be her best friend and Matarazzo will be a tag-along. Quote Link to comment
