Maria Ozawa won the role of a supermodel character by beating out pro catwalkers and was by all accounts a professional, hard worker who won over everyone involved including those who were uncomfortable with the idea of a porn star being in the film. Indeed, her role was expanded to include more scenes, delivering dialogue in both English and Japanese. Quote Link to comment

WALL-E, a robot, spends every day doing what he was made for. But soon, he will discover what he was meant for. From Academy Award-winning writer-director, Andrew Stanton ("Finding Nemo"), Disney-Pixar's "WALL-E" is the story of one robot's comic adventures as he chases his dream across the galaxy. trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O46mMnIln9E Sympathy for Lady Vengeance (remake):According to a recent interview with The Boston Globe, Charlize plans to produce and star in a remake of Korean director Park Chan-Wook's SYMPATHY FOR LADY VENGEANCE. The gorgeous and unsettling original movie (released in the US as just LADY VENGEANCE) is the devastating denouement to Park's thematically linked "revenge trilogy," following the shattering SYMPATHY FOR MR. VENGEANCE and the savage OLDBOY. The story revolves around a beautiful woman wrongly imprisoned for the murder of a child and her subsequent complex plans for retribution. Monsters vs. Aliens:Monsters vs. Aliens is a throwback to those B-movie glory days of the '50s when Martians invaded our backyards and rubber monsters stalked the Earth. But the DreamsWorks sci-fi spoof, landing March 27, 2009, also transforms a once-tacky Ike-era gimmick into an eye-popping 21st-century experience as the first computer-animated feature to be shot in 3-D. Reese Witherspoon as Susan Murphy, a modern-day California girl who has the bad luck to be hit by a meteor on her wedding day and grows to be 49 feet, 11½ inches tall (a wink at 1958's The Attack of the 50-Foot Woman). Captured by the military, she's renamed Ginormica. Joining her giantess to fend off Rainn Wilson's evil alien Gallaxhar are Dr. Cockroach, Ph.D. (Hugh Laurie), the jellylike B.O.B. (Seth Rogen) and the half-ape, half-fish Missing Link (Will Arnett). Kiefer Sutherland speaks for Gen. W.R. Monger (get it?), and Stephen Colbert is the president. http://img505.imageshack.us/img505/5010/monstersxlargesi3.jpg Attack of the Killer Tomatoes! (remake):"Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!" will be attacking theaters again. Kent Nichols and Douglas Sarine, creators of the hit Web series "Ask a Ninja," are writing the adaptation of the 1978 cult monster movie, with Nichols set to make his directorial debut. M. Dal Walton III, the force behind the remakes of "Day of the Dead" and "Terror Train," acquired the rights from Killer Tomato Entertainment and will produce. Emmett/Furla Films will co-produce. Harbinger:Paramount Pictures has acquired rights to Jim Shooter's comic book series "Harbinger". The studio plans to make a "young Blade Runner-esque" live-action feature from the film which will be developed as a potential scripting and directing vehicle for Brett Ratner. Harbingers are humans with powers that can be unlocked by "omega" harbingers. Teenager Pete Stanchek finds himself on a collision course with an older "omega" who used his gifts to become an evil industrialist. Ratner will pen the script as he continues work on the Hugh Hefner biopic "Playboy" for Universal Pictures. Joy Ride 2: Dead AheadStarring Nick Zano, Mark Gibbon, Nicki Aycox, Kyle Schmid, Laura Jordan, and Aisling Walsh, DEAD AHEAD goes a little like this: While driving across the country on their way to Las Vegas, two couples are forced to "borrow" a car from an apparently abandoned ranch house when their own vehicle breaks down in rural Utah. Little do they know that the car they took actually belonged to Rusty Nail, the cold, calculating killer who plays vicious and cruel games with his victims, often pursuing them in his ominous, black 18-wheeler truck. After one of their friends is kidnapped by the murderous trucker, the remaining travelers are forced into Rusty's violent realm to play his sinister cat-and-mouse games in an attempt to rescue their friend and stop the killer before it is too late. sickness
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows:It looks like all those rumours about the last Harry Potter book being split into two movies are true. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I will hit theatres in November 2010 and Part II in May 2011. Director David Yates returns again for both halves. G.I. JOE:Hummer HX will be used in the upcoming film. The HX is a compact two-door, four-passenger, open-air, extreme off-road capable concept. HX features a reconfigurable rear compartment that can transform from slant back to SUT to square back, any of which can be open air or fully enclosed. This will be one of the many GM vehicles to be used in the film and will be known as the Cougar (Patrol Vehicle) or the Grizzly (Armored Truck). http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/6757/hummerhxgl3.jpg http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/7489/hummerhx202lk7.jpg Metal Gear Solid:Writer/Director Kurt Wimmer ("Equilibrium") will possibly pen the Sony Pictures film adaptation of Konami's hit video game series "Metal Gear Solid". Metal Gear Solid's story centers on Solid Snake, a retired soldier who infiltrates a nuclear weapons disposal facility to neutralize the terrorist threat from FOXHOUND, a renegade special forces unit. He attempts to liberate their two hostages, the head of DARPA and the president of a major arms manufacturer, and stops the terrorists from launching a nuclear strike. Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurhttp://img246.imageshack.us/img246/7140/iceage1po4.jpg http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/1967/iceage3na0.jpg http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/5186/iceage2pt3.jpg Madagascar 2: The Crate EscapeAll the loveable characters are back -- Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe and Gloria the hippo, King Julien, Maurice and the penguins -- in "Madagascar: The Crate Escape." Left marooned on the distant shores of Madagascar, the New Yorkers have hatched a plan so crazy it just might work. With military precision, the penguins have repaired an old crashed plane -- sort of. Once aloft, this unlikely crew stays airborne just long enough to make it to the wildest place of all -- the vast plains of Africa itself -- where our zoo-raised crew encounters species of their own kind for the very first time. While discovering their roots, they quickly realize the differences between the concrete jungle and the heart of Africa. Despite long-lost relatives, romantic rivals and scheming hunters, Africa seems like a "crack-a-lackin" great place...but is it better than their Central Park home? trailer: Heavy Metal:Director David Fincher is pushing forward with an animated anthology feature film based on the 70s sci-fi fantasy magazine "Heavy Metal" for Paramount Pictures. The R-rated, adult-themed film will consist of eight or nine individual animated segments, each of which will be directed by a different director. Fincher will direct one of the segments, Kevin Eastman ("TMNT"), and Tim Miller will do another each whilst all three will produce. Previous animated features based on the property were released in 1981 and 2000. Escape to Witch Mountain:Carla Gugino is joining Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in Disney Pictures "Race to Witch Mountain" reports the trades. The re-imagining of 1975 tween thriller "Escape to Witch Mountain" has a Las Vegas cab driver (Johnson) helping a pair of psychic siblings (Alexander Ludwig and AnnaSophia Robb) escape the clutches of evil men and save the human race from impending doom. Gugino will play a discredited astrophysicist and UFO expert who meets up with the cabbie who asks for her extraterrestrial expertise. Actor/director Garry Marshall plays a government and UFO conspiracy theorist/fringe scientist who helps them in their quest. Amulet:Willow and Jaden Smith will star in Warner Bros. Pictures' adaptation of Kazu Kibuishi's fantasy graphic novel "Amulet" for Overbrook Entertainment. The graphic novel centers on a brother and sister who move into their late great-grandfather's home after their father dies. They must use his amulet to rescue their widowed mother from a beast who lures her into an underground world. The Haunted World of El Superbeasto:Rob Zombie reports on his official MySpace blog that Sid Haig and Bill Moseley have joined the cast of his animated feature film, El Superbeasto. Who will they be playing? How about Captain Spaulding and Otis from House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects?! The 2-D animated comedy, based on the Spookshow International comic book "The Haunted World of El Superbeasto" created by Zombie, follows the exploits of a washed-up Mexican wrestler, El Superbeasto, in the mythic world of Monsterland. SAW V:Betsy Russell - who plays Jigsaw's wife Jill - will be joining Tobin Bell, Scott Patterson, Costas Mandylor and Mark Rolston in Lionsgate's Saw V, which hits theaters October 24.
