sickness
Watchmen:Matthew Goode ("Match Point," "The Lookout," "Chasing Liberty") has won the role of the retired superhero with an Alexander the Great complex who markets his image for money. Goode joins Billy Crudup as Dr. Manhatton, Patrick Wilson as The Night Owl, Malin Ackerman as Silk Spectre and Jackie Earle Haley as Rorschach. Watchmen is set in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society, and the "Doomsday Clock" – which charts the USA's tension with the Soviet Union – is permanently set at five minutes to midnight. When one of his former colleagues is murdered, the washed up but no less determined masked vigilante Rorschach sets out to uncover a plot to k*ll and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his former crime-fighting legion – a ragtag group of retired superheroes, only one of whom has true powers – Rorschach glimpses a wide-ranging and disturbing conspiracy with links to their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the future. Their mission is to watch over humanity... but who is watching the Watchmen? The Incredible Hulk:The explosive, action-packed adventure in one of the all-time most popular superhero sagas unfolds with a cure in reach for the world’s most primal force of fury: “The Incredible Hulk.” We find scientist Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) living in shadows, scouring the planet for an antidote. But the warmongers who dream of abusing his powers won’t leave him alone, nor will his need to be with the only woman he has ever loved, Betty Ross (Liv Tyler). Upon returning to civilization, our brilliant doctor is ruthlessly pursued by The Abomination (Tim Roth)–a nightmarish beast of pure adrenaline and aggression whose powers match The Hulk’s own. A fight of comic-book proportions ensues as Banner must call upon the hero within to rescue New York City from total destruction. And on June 13, 2008…one scientist must make an agonizing final choice–accept a peaceful life as Bruce Banner or the creature he could permanently become: The Incredible Hulk. The Lovely Bones:Stanley Tucci is in negotiations to play the pivotal role of killer George Harvey in Peter Jackson's adaptation of "The Lovely Bones" for DreamWorks. Rachel Weisz and Ryan Gosling will play the parents of Susie Salmon (newcomer Saoirse Ronan), a 14-year-old who has been raped and killed by a neighbor she refers to as Mr. Harvey. Alice Sebold's best-selling 2002 novel is told from the perspective of Susie, who looks down on her family and Harvey from the afterlife. Hex:Warner Bros. has signed on Crank writer/director duo Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor to adapt a feature adaptation of the DC Comic "Jonah Hex". The Western anti-hero comic centers on Hex, the title character known for having the right side of his face disfigured and wearing a Confederate army uniform. He was a rough-and-tumble gunslinger and part-time bounty hunter whose adventures always ended in blood. 3:10 to Yuma http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/8526/hr310toyuma4rl0.jpg Quote Link to comment
James Richard
Ginagampanan ni Cedric ang isang 4th year high school student, who is a candidate for valedictorian. In real life, he is a high school valedictorian from Colegio de Santa Rosa High School in Laguna. First time ni Meila to act for film, pero kilala na siya bilang super actress sa theater circuit. Produkto si Meila ng UP Theater Arts after graduating from the National High School for Arts in Makiling. Natangay pa rin kami ng acting nina Cedric at Meila nang mapanood uli namin ang pelikula sa Cinema 10 ng Mall of Asia nu’ng isang araw. :thumbsupsmiley: :mtc: Quote Link to comment

sickness
Watchmen:Considered one of the finest comic books ever published, Watchmen was created by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons giving the world what is considered to be the first realistic look at superheroes. The big screen version is being adapted by Zack Snyder (300). Today the news hit the trades on the official casting of the key players in Zack Snyder's Watchmen feature film based on the graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. Haley will play Walter Kovacs, aka Rorschach, who ignores the ban on costumed vigilantes. Crudup will play Dr. Manhattan, a superpowered being with godlike powers and temperament. Goode will play Adrian Veidt/Ozymandias, a costume adventurer who retired voluntarily, disclosed his identity and built a large fortune. He hatches a plot to avert a global catastrophe he believes will be caused by Dr. Manhattan. Wilson will play the Nite-Owl, a crime-figher who uses technical wizardry and has an owl-shaped flying vehicle. Morgan will play the Comedian, a cigar-chomping, gun-toting vigilante-turned-paramilitary agent. The Incredible Hulk:Tim Blake Nelson will play a scientist named Samuel Sterns. In Hulk lore, Sterns, aka "The Leader," is one of the Hulk's major antagonists, a menial worker in a chemical research plant who is bombarded with gamma radiation. He emerges from his accident not only green-skinned but also superintelligent, with an oversized brain. Nelson joins a strong comic book movie cast that includes two-time Oscar nominee Edward Norton (Banner), Liv Tyler (Betty Ross), Tim Roth (villain Emil Blonsky/the Abomination) and William Hurt (General Ross, Betty's father). Beowulf:Adapted from the oldest story in the English language, "Beowulf" is a hyper violent and highly sexualized tale of the warrior Beowulf (Ray Winstone) who must slay the monster Grendel (Crispin Glover). Later, Grendel's mother (Angelina Jolie) seduces Beowulf so that she can produce a replacement heir that will allow her to reestablish her dominion over the kingdom. Quote Link to comment
