One the owners’ a good friend of mine.  He also owns XIU.  I told him Yabu  is over rated.  Sabi ko ang favorite ko dun sa Yalu is their water. Hahaha!  Buwisit daw ako!  But his XIU is undoubtedly very good but pricey.

I agree, Yabu is overrated. Saboten and Maisen are a lot better, pero dahil nauna ang Yabu at mas sulit pa din siya, mas na maintain nila market nila. And yes, XIU is excellent. One of the best dimsum places in Manila for me.

Namimiss ko yung panahon na bago pa yung Yabu. Yung pinupuntahan ko talaga sa kanila at the time was their service. Ang bilis ng galawan ng mga tauhan nila. Request cabbage? Andun na agad. Rice? Andun na agad. Tapos masiyahin pa sila mag serve
