I look at the material, not the brand. Sometimes I'll find really nice stuff at the tiangges but mostly I shop at the pricier places. I love lycra and cotton I used to buy lycra tank tops at M&S but I've since found a cheaper alternative: the Bench underwear stores. It's the same material but way way cheaper

yes, material is the primary criterion but one also has to take into account size availability and the cut used. that's where most better brands have the advantage.

i've got a new fave brand...Olsen Europe. Casual and formal wears are great. Good sizing and styles too!
