Supa.Chill'n
Individual attention. Each kid needs something different. Some kids need to feel smart, some need to feel challenged, some need to find something interesting, some kids need to appreciate the small victories, some kids need to see the big picture, some kids need to learn consequences. It all really depends and parents and teachers need to be responsive. A good teacher will see how the students are performing and try to boost everyone's performance, like a true MVP. A lesser teacher will just give information. Definitely, we need better teachers and we need to pay them well because that kid will grow up to be a good member of society that helps you in the future, or a cancer that ends up making your life worse. All kids need consistent parenting. School is not an excuse for parents to slack off. A little off topic. Haha Quote Link to comment

notagarnmd
Change the curriculum and let them choose certain subjects that ignite their interests. I believe that there's no such thing as an indiligent or lazy kid. There are just those who are not interested in some subjects in school. People always find motivation to work on something if they are interested in it. Quote Link to comment
RomanticBadboy
Internal motivation for some. For others, if a teacher can inspire them to learn and make the subject fun, interesting or relevant in the students' life Quote Link to comment

dawnturtle15
From personal experience. The answer is hunger. But not too much. At least you must be half full at least. If you are in that situation the problems on a piece of paper is a joke. In those days I didn’t even care about whether I’ll pass or not. I just read the books as a distraction.Never knew it will take me far. It took me up real far. Quote Link to comment

xJoyboy
imo, reduce the actual time of school hours. Need talaga ng life balance. Masyadong nasusuya ang mga estudyante sa haba ng oras, araw-araw info overload. Enforced masyado ang pagsisipag In Finland, students only goes to school for 3-4 hours. Result - #2 highest performing graduates and #8 in overall- most educated country in the world. Dito sa pinas, pasok ka ng 6am, uwuwi ka ng mga 5pm tapos may homework ka pa. Minsan talaga parang stressful yung system dito. 1 Quote Link to comment
endarion
You can only motivate them, pero nasa kanila pa din kung gusto nila magaral or hindi. Also, a good attitude professor is the best kahit pa maghapon yan Quote Link to comment
SDMNXIX
They have to be taught the essence of learning, hindi yung para lang sa grades or recognition. If sila mismo ang maka intindi dun, sila na rin mismo ang magpupursige mag aral, hindi yung napipilitan lng sila. And let them pursue their own interests. They are their own persons. Masyado kse controlling ang mga parents minsan... Quote Link to comment
